Calphalon® Ceramic Nonstick 12-pc. Cookware Set

I've had our Calphalon® Ceramic Nonstick 12-pc. Cookware Set for about a month and I can truely say this is non-stick cookware. I have dry-fried several differnet foods, including eggs, without them sticking. Any minor carbonization is quickly and easily cleaned. With a minimum amout of bacon grease, about an 1/8 of atps., I can loosen the edges of fried eggs and swirl them in the pan. I could not with my Gothic Steel cook set. The long handles stay cool as do the lid hadles. The slotted lids and pour spouts make drain vegetables and pasta easy and safe. They show no signs of scratching from using metal utensils. Time will tell how dishwasher compatable they are. Definitately worth the money.

These are really non stick pans. We were used to cooking with older pans and things such as a fried egg would need to be scraped a little to loosen them up. With these pans, if you move them too quickly the egg or other item can slide right out. Also, really like the strainer feature on the pots. Great for cooking pasta. We have washed them several times and everything seems fine. Handles get warm but are not hot.

I bought this because I wanted to convert to ceramic and move away from PFAS with a young daughter in the house. I have always tried to buy Calphalon, but tried to find the cheaper versions at TJ Maxx, etc. I was blown away with the quality of this set and how quickly it boiled water compared to my old pan, which was not Calphalon. The handles do not get hot and clean up is a breeze. Love the beautiful gray-green color. I love the fact that they come with 2 potholders that you can also use to put in between the frying pans to keep them from scratching each other. I turned one of the pots on its side in the picture so you could see how beautiful the color is. Will update the post if they do not hold up with use over time but so far I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and feel it is a very good value for the money.

I am a professional chef and calphalon has been my go-to for home cooking for years. That changed with these pans. They're cool about the first 10 times you use them and then after that they're worthless. Less than 6 months of use. If you try to sear anything at a high temp that's the last time it will work properly. You will lose some of the non-stick and their customer service won't help you either. Even if you send them pictures showing how terrible they are, they demand that you send them back and then if they decide that they're not up to their quality they will refund you, if not they will just ship you back the same pan. The large saute pan went first. A big spot right in the middle of the pan where everything sticks to it now. Right behind it was the 12-in. Didn't take long for the same thing to happen to it. I take extra good care of my pans and always have, I only wash them with a soft sponge by hand, never in the dishwasher even though they say their dishwasher safe. I won't be ordering these or any calphalon products ever again. A customer lost due to low quality and bad customer service. Good luck.

Perfect nothing sticks easy to wash great cookware worth the price

Ok so I love these pans but I had to take off a star because you have no way of adding to the set without buying a duplicate set of the same or the frying pans only. I would love more sauce pans but do not want to buy an entire new set. These clean up so easily! The ceramic heats quickly on my propane range! I cook with beef tallow and butter but when I am not, they do not stick easily! The color is closer to green than grey but they are still pretty! So far not scratching or cracking of the ceramic. I will update if they do.

We owned a Calphalon set before. It lasted 8+ years. There are some pans still as the first day but we wanted to renew our cookware set and we did not doubt in getting another one from Calphalon because they are so great, so durable, non-stick and amazing quality. This brand always succeed our expectations. Strongly recommended!
