DJI Neo Three-Battery Combo, Mini Drone With 4K UHD Camera for Adults

This was a Christmas gift for my “big boy” — my husband — and he LOVED it! The DJI Neo Three-Battery Combo is an amazing little drone that delivers way more fun and quality than we expected. The drone feels very well made, easy to use even for beginners, and incredibly fun right out of the box. The 4K camera produces great footage for its size, and the self-flying features make it enjoyable without feeling complicated or intimidating. The three-battery combo is a HUGE plus — honestly, it’s super necessary. It lets you enjoy longer flying sessions without constantly stopping to recharge, which makes the experience so much better. For the price, this combo is an excellent deal. Great value for money! It’s very durable even after it accidentally landed in the pool. The speed is fine for regular use and photography. It’s easy to use and maneuver with the app. The battery life is great, 15 minutes of use where typically batteries for drones like this last 5-10 minutes.

The DJI Neo is an impressive little drone that combines portability with powerful features. Despite its small size and lightweight design, it delivers excellent performance and very stable flight. The 4K UHD camera produces sharp, clear video and vibrant photos, making it great for both casual use and creative shots. I really like the intelligent flight modes—palm takeoff, subject tracking, and QuickShots make flying easy even for beginners. The autonomous features work smoothly, and the stabilization keeps footage steady. The combo with three batteries is a huge plus, allowing much longer flying time without worrying about constant recharging. The drone feels safe and reliable with its propeller guards, and it’s compact enough to take anywhere. It’s perfect for beginners as well as hobbyists who want an easy-to-use drone with high-quality video. Overall, the DJI Neo is fun, reliable, and packed with smart features. So far it’s not bad. However the jpg pictures are not even usable. They’re grainy. The clouds, trees and bushes during a sunset, looked like noise reduction turn them into mush straight off the card. The videos are fine and just need a color correction in post editing. It’s a budget drone, so I can understand the lack of some quality and lessor choices in the setting menu. Will I use it? For video only, yeah it’s sufficient for what I do. For pictures? Nope. Not a chance.

I bought this as my first drone, and it has turned out to be my favorite. I started flying it using just its internal smart shots and with my phone. I then added an RC-N3 controller that uses my phone and allows for more range, control and precision. Next, I added DJI Goggles N3 and a motion controller to experience FPV type flight, in addition to some extra batteries. I have recently purchased a DJI RC2 controller so I don't have to use my phone. This drone allows you to try "all the things."

DJI has released its most affordable and easy to use drone yet. This thing is so versatile and simple to operate. It ranges from a simple auto shot camera platform, that can be airborne in a few seconds, to an RC or FPV drone. It’s lightweight and packs away in a small case, which is perfect for hiking or backpacking. I own two other DJI drones. This is the only brand I trust. They have truly mastered functionality and reliability.

Probably the least capable DJI drone, but its so impressive for its size, its hard to believe something so small can do 4K video, fly 35 Mph, fly in FPV mode and fly up to 10 kilometers away! Its way under 250 grams so you don't have to register it with the FAA. I already had the Avata 2 so I didn't need the controllers or goggles, so this was pretty cheap to add to my fleet. You could fly it without a controller by just using hand signals, it flies with your phone, the motion 3 controller, the RCN3 controller, the remote controller 3 and even the RC2 controller, and it also works with Googles 3. Its great for flying around the house while I wait for sprint in Minnesota, I can't wait to get it outside!
