A Lifesaver for Our 20-Year-Old, High-Traffic Carpet
We have a 20-year-old shag carpet and a household full of activity—five pets, two kids, two adults, and a rural property with plenty of dirt, trees, and gravel. Our carpet has absolutely seen better days, especially in high-traffic areas. When our old carpet cleaner finally broke beyond repair and the Carpet One went on a Black Friday sale, we grabbed it. Assembly was quick, though I did fiddle with pieces enough to cause a minor issue with the brush head not seating fully. Thankfully, even without reading the manual, I was able to fix it quickly—always a win. One of my favorite features is the display that shows when the water being pulled from the carpet is still dirty. Between knee problems and no one else vacuuming lately, the floors were overdue for attention, so I spent extra time on each spot. Once the water looked clean, I used the drying feature. While the carpet padding and deeper weave remained damp, the surface felt dry enough that my sensory issues didn’t flare when walking across it. Overnight drying finished the job. The results? Stunning. After vacuuming the next morning, the cleaned area looked dramatically better. The Carpet One separated and lifted the carpet fibers so they looked almost new again. I even took a photo—there’s a clear “No Vac” area where the fibers were still clumped together, something that persists even after a good vacuuming. The cleaned-and-vacuumed section looked fantastic. There are a few quirks. Filling the clean-water/solution tank is a bit awkward because trapped air bubbles get in the way, so I often had to stop the water, adjust the tank, and continue. Dumping the dirty water tank is easy if the clean water tank is empty—you can swing and pour one-handed. But if the clean tank is full, it’s too bottom-heavy to manage comfortably. A second handle would make a big difference. The carpet solution itself has a very faint smell that disappears completely during use, which I appreciate because it helps me sniff out the “funky” spots in the carpet and focus on them. The drying feature helps reveal those spots too. The machine is surprisingly easy on my chronic pain. Our old cleaner required too much pushing, pulling, and lifting. The Carpet One has a motor assist that activates with minimal pressure, moving the machine forward and backward at a selectable speed—such a relief. The water tank is easy to reach and remove, and once you get the hang of lining it up, reinstalling it is simple. The self-cleaning feature also works beautifully—very similar to our Tineco wet/dry vac for hard floors. Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase so far. It brought life back to a very tired carpet and made deep cleaning manageable again.

Out with the old, in with a new!
The Tineco carpet One cruiser is an excellent carpet cleaner. Is very effective in removing stains from my carpet both old and new. It comes with an all-in-one tank that has both dirty water and clean in separate compartments. Getting going was a breeze straight out of the box as the handle and the tanks were the main things to be installed. I love how easy it is to use and how there are three speed modes for it to assist you in moving it across the room, low medium and high. This is very helpful as the self-propelling function allows me to do many areas and not get overly tired of moving the vacuum back and forth. Has a dry feature built in as well and dries the wet areas once shampooed. The results speak for themselves as my carpets are much cleaner now and all that dirt was removed. Cleaning the dirty water tank is very easy, just take it out and dump the water. It came with a pre-cleaner and shampoo to get started. The handle has an LED display and displays whether the carpet is dirty or clean by a red or a blue indicator light. Excellent feature. Super easy to switch modes between dry and clean and max for deep clean. The cord can easily be stowed away on the back handle with the built-in latches. Great quality machine for an excellent clean. Love the look and definitely worth the money!

Assembled and washed my guest room carpet in less than 10 minutes!
WOW! The Carpet One cruiser did not disappoint! I received it today and cleaned my guest room. I had no idea my floors needed to be cleaned until I saw the dirty water. Works very well, took less than 3 minutes to assemble, super easy as I had a phone in one hand while I put it together. The two giant big tires in the back help move it around the house and on the carpets. The clean water tank is easy to fill. The cord length is nice as there was more than enough cord to go around the room. It suctioned very well and left my carpet almost 100% dry ( about 96%). The carpet one cruiser looks very stylish. I am amazed that I was able to assemble and wash my guest room in less than 10 minutes. Very confident. PLUS,, my carpet is practically dry! Some key things I find very useful from it 1) It has autopropelar to help keep the machine moving forward, creating less strain on me 2) auto voice prompts- tells me when my dirty tank is full, when I need to refill the clean water tank and reminds me to clean the machine 3) comes with a storage stand, this is nice because it keeps any moisture still on the machine, off the floor. 4) The indicator light, I like knowing if the carpet is clean 5) Giant dirty water tank means I don't have to dump it out constantly 5) Able to change the modes from"auto" " max" and " dry" I am looking forward to washing the other rooms in the house!

Far too complicated in how it runs.
This is Farr too complicated to operate. You have to use your phone to set the type of carpet and depth of pile. The instructions are horribly short and not helpful. Nothing online is really any better. When I’m running a carpet cleaner, I don’t want to have to mess with my phone. The complaints about the water reservoirs being too small are spot on. Expensive carpet cleaner that is not worth it.

It’s a keeper
The cord is shorter, narrower than my last one, and it doesn’t hold as much waste water as I’d like but cleans well. The shampoo is highly concentrated and seems to work well. Love the self cleaning feature. I’d recommend the warranty as it has a lot of bells and whistles.

Worth the money
I have been a Bissell fan for years. My last Bissell finally died (after tons of uses) I decided to buy one again. Although the suction was actually very good, it continually stopped working. Then, when I was doing the stairs, the part stopped spraying solution! All this happened the first time I was using it. Honestly, when I was putting the product together, every part was so cheap! That was it! I returned it, continued to research it, and found this carpet cleaner. And, yes, worth the price. It cleaned so incredibly well, it drying feature did a great job, and the hand-held attachment for stairs and upholstery worked incredibly well. The product is well made. It is heavier, but it has power assist so it is not hard to maneuver the machine. I am hoping this product continues to serve me well, and we are off to a good start.

Worth the money I paid but now I see it is back to the original price
Pros this CARPET ONE Cruiser is amazing and cleans extremely well and I love the motorized wheels. Now I clean on High Power so I will frequently change out dirty water but I don't mind because I get a pause from cleaning constantly with my Rheumatoid Arthritis and it's a nice short break between cleaning. Changing water is a breeze and just two cap fills of cleaning solution is beautiful and nothing to waste or guess. Yes worth the money and quality is great.

It's good, but not great. Needs some more work.
Beege's great review covered most of what I was going to say, but I'll go a little further: this machine has a serious engineering flaw in that it forces you to be emptying the dirty water tank every few minutes - even though the tank is nowhere near full. Since the water is black and disgusting, and can easily clog your drain up, I really hated having to do that so often. Why have such a huge dirty water tank, when the machine won't allow it to get even 1/5 of the way full before forcing you to empty it? It also does that with the self-cleaning function. A self-cleaning function should always work and not be something that gives you stress. Most of the time, it stopped around 30 seconds into it and forced me to "please empty the dirty water tank", even though I *started* with an empty tank! So I'd go empty it, again, put it back on, and self-cleaning would resume... for another few seconds before stopping again. Only rarely did the cycle complete without stopping numerous times for emptying. Also it does that on drying mode too. If I'm just drying, why is the tank demanding to be emptied every few minutes - when there's barely anything in it? It's a serious flaw. Also the hand held tool leaves much to be desired. With hard scrubbing, it tends to fall apart, and is frustrating to have to put back together. Also the trigger sprayer most of the time either put out no water, or a worthless dribble. Apparently your clean water tank has to be at least 90% full, or else the sprayer on the tool doesn't have enough pressure to get a good stream out. That said, it's not a huge problem, and the tool does a decent job as long as you accept that there's problems with it. It was very good at running across some dirty walls that had dust bunnies and old webs; it took them right off. But overall, I didn't like having to remember to not scrub too hard with the tool, lest the brush fall off, and I disliked having to use it without water a lot of the time. Those were the insufferable things that made me send it back and get the Bissell Revolution Hydrosteam instead. But I will say, there are good things about it, as Beege mentioned. No trigger to press all the time; automatic water dispersion. And the drying mode is awesome and really works, even if a little time-consuming. The self-cleaning and drying of the brush is a great feature - when it works. The talking voice, well, it was cool at first but I quickly turned it off as it feels more like nagging than being helpful. "Please empty the dirty water tank" is not a phase I ever want to hear again in my life, after using this machine.
