Schmidt'sNatural Deodorant - Bergamot and Lime, 2 ounces. Jar for Women and Men

When I first started using this I thought it was a life changer. I'm quite a sweaty person and non natural deodrants/ anti persprints never did anything for me past an hour but of course natural deodorants haven't either and I had been looking for one that at least somewhat works since I switched a couple of years ago. After reading lots of reviews I decided to try this. A bit messy to apply but once it was on I couldn't believe it! After a full day of work my armpits didn't smell bad for once, it was clear I'd been sweating but not as much and there was a nice smell instead. However, after a week of using my armpits started to feel sore, stubbornly I kept using and hoped it was something else. But after 2 weeks I had to stop using altogether as my armpits were in so much pain and several lumps had appeared on each one. Luckily antihistamines worked a treat alongside not using any products on my underarms for a few days until it cleared up. Of course I'm not saying everyone will have this same reaction and the product itself, as I say, works as it should do but I've never had a reaction like this to any other underarm products- natural or not- and I never want to ever again. Maybe give it a try but if you notice any kind of soreness or irritation stop using immediately. But then it does seem to be a lot of money to spend if you do happen to be one of those people who react badly to it. Very envious of all those reviewers who haven't had this issue and can still continue using the product but my pot is sadly going in the bin.

I found this extremely difficult to apply, not 'creamy' as others described...you have to really fight to get bits of it chiseled out of the jar, and then little crumbs fall on the floor no matter how careful you are. On top of that, I didn't find it lasted all day, the way other viewers described... I like the natural ingredients, but it really needs some working on the recipe or else the application (maybe stick applicator?) and its much too expensive for what it is, in my opinion. I am disappointed as I relied on the glowing reviews left by others and found it very mediocre.

I'm seriously sweaty and I can't believe it but this actually works. It doesn't stop you sweating but I don't smell of sweat AT ALL at the end of the day....miraculous!

I saw an advert of this deodorant and I decided to buy it on Amazon as it says it's got natural ingredients in it.It arrived as specified. The product comes in a small glass container and smells really nice.I only gave it a 4 star as it leaves my under arm really black on continuous use. That I don't like as am a light skinned person having a black under arm is a no no. Was using same for my kids just to make them feel fresh but also noticed their under arm getting black/dark. So sorry to say I had to stop using the product. Maybe it's my and my kids skin reacting to the ingredients. But will say it does keep you smelling fresh all day and even if you sweat, you still stay fresh.

On first opening the smell is amazing but using the spatula to scoop it up is very crumbly and then having to rub that into your armpit without bits falling everywhere was quite awkward. After i put it on not long later into the hour my armpit started to smell like sweaty feet. I have actually made my own deodorant before with similar ingredients minus the essential oils and i have never smelt like a sweaty foot. I opted for buying one instead of making one so i dont have to bother but i think i will now be going back to my homemade version. Maybe it had some strange reaction to me as other reviews seem to like it.

I absolutely love this deodorant. The smell is so fresh and citrus-y, which I thought at first might not have a good effect with my body chemistry especially when I sweat, but it doesn't make me smell 'sour' or anything--this is the only product I've ever used that kept me fresh for two whole days (during when I was ill and didn't have the energy to take a shower) without fail. I know that there have been a few reviews saying that it irritated their pits, but I have very sensitive skin too, as I have eczema, and this doesn't do anything bad to me.

I've almost used up my entire pot now so will be buying another one. It was strange at first to scoop my deodorant out of a little jar and was worried that it wouldn't go on nicely, however it does. It's creamier than I thought it would be, smells lovely and fresh, more importantly it has kept me incredibly dry throughout the summer and at the gym.
