I got this mate "gourd" to have an extra for company (I had another that came with a set). The insulated metal material is easy to clean and keeps my mate nice and warm. It's also more durable than a true gourd. The size is fine, and the bombilla with a cleaning brush is a nice extra. Good value for the money, IMO. Nice if you don't want to worry about maintaining a more authentic but fussy gourd. You could certainly also use this for coffee, tea, or small iced beverages, if you're not too much of a purist.

This cup is so beautiful, it doesn't leak/no cracks, so easy to use and function for everyday tea too, super easy to clean and just an overall great product for your money.

Coffee has officially been replaced in my daily routine thanks to this amazing little cup! Fits perfect in my hand, doesn't burn my hands to hold it after pouring hot water into it, & the straws are perfect for the loose leaf yerba mate & even other teas that I drink out of it. My new favorite part of the day!

Wow this product works great when you want to make natural tea. The size is perfect and leak proof. Perfect size to carry on the go and super easy to rinse and clean. Love the style.

Definitely worth it. It honestly makes drinking Yerba Mate so much more pleasant. You just drink and refill with more hot water.
