This is a sturdy, well made leash that my Border Collie with mini White Shark teeth has, unlike similar products here, been unable to chew through it over a period of a few months now. While I use it primarily for outside training sessions, it also comes in handy inside when I want to prevent my puppy from greeting guests by jumping on their heads or something.The cost is reasonable when compared to others in the same price range that are made from materials that are easily chewed through, or tear quickly from wear.I purchased the 15' leash, which is fine for my use, but I would recommend 20'+ if you plan on using it to teach your dog to play catch or fetch using it.I tend to review items that meet, or exceed, my expectations. I put in a lot if time researching what I buy on Amazon on other trustworthy and respected sites that have actually tested and used an item. (I avoid sites that merely consolidate reviews, or review reviews.) I definitely don't depend on reviews found here to make any final purchase decisions.

This item was so perfect for my little dog ( a Doxie ) on our camping trip. The 20 ft. length seemed perfect letting him walk around and do doggie things and relax where he wanted to in our campsite, top quality materials and well made. I am very pleased and highly recommend this cable.

LIghter weight capacity than my other one. I love the shock absorber. I do wish it had a more secure style of clips, perhaps a more intense bright color. Good length

I like the plastic coating on the wire.

It's very strong and doesn't get stuck between boards and my dog cant chew thru it like the cheaper, thinner one I originally got from hardware store.

My 22 lb grand dog managed to snap the clasp from the cable, completely disengaging it. It was meant for dogs up to 35 lbs.
