Was really wanting to like this item but unfortunately not at all. The keyboard was awkward in size in relation to normal keyboards. Really only good if you’re on a table top. If you plan on using it on your lap it’s a little difficult since it’s so top heavy, it may fall over. I have the older iPad A1584 or whatever model 1st gen and the Apple logo is off centered in the cut out window making it look odd and cheap. The next gen models made not have that problem... I would’ve still kept it because it looks pretty cool but the number one reasons I returned it was the keys did not all work the space bar needed to be hit hard in the middle while typing if you tapped the left or right side of the keyboard it would not respon. In addition to all that the back light would not turn on let alone change colors. Instructions were difficult since they were written for an Asian audience and the English portion was in a -5 Don’t so get your magnifying glass out the print was blurry and barely distinguishable. It did however pair automatically unlike some other reviews stated.

I would like to say this product is defective. I hope mine is so the other people that purchased theirs is happy with it. I bought this Sept 14, and it’s now it’s the 3rd of Nov. At first this worked perfect, and now, for about the last week ago, the iPad holder does nothing except not even lay down completely flat but it even leans backwards a bit. It’s ridiculous. The return window ended Oct 14th, one month later so they must not expect their product to last past the one month window. For a product this expensive, I would find something else. I must say, this is one of the worst purchases I’ve made in my 46 years on this earth and that includes spoiled food that game me food poisoning. At least it tasted good on the way down.

I have written very few reviews of products. I usually don’t bother unless they are really really good or the opposite. I have had so many attempts trying to find the right Ipad Pro keyboard case that I almost gave up. Thankfully I tried one more time. This keyboard case is just what I needed. It’s not lightweight but it seems durable and the extra battery capacity built in to charge devices is worth it. It looks so much like a touchscreen macbook pro that people don’t know what it is. Love the backlit keyboard as I work in dark room most of the time. The locking mechanism holding the ipad in the case seems solid. The keyboard has a nice feel to it. I can type fairly rapidly on it. Overall a really good solution. So good in fact that I bought another one when it went on the lightning deal. That way I have a spare in case anything goes wrong. I will update this review if there are any issues. I have the largest Ipad pro and this basically turns it into a touch screen mac laptop. Love it!!!!

I am so in love with this keyboard/case. I bought an iPad Pro after my PC died and i needed something to finish college on an hopefully last for years after I finish my degree. This vase/keyboard really makes me feel like I have a laptop when I need it when writing papers for school and easily detaches if I want my ipad solo. I feel it offers good protection, the keys work great the silicon mat keeps everything clean and the backlight makes typing in the dark easy. Not to mention it is a sexy look. I am so happy with this purchase It was also so easy to set up. Worth every penny after reading reviews of cheaper yet faulty products.

So far so good. It does make the iPad heavy but the all metal case seems very sturdy so I don't mind the trade off; I have another case for compact travel that can be swapped out.Biggest problem is the brushed feel of the metal. It's not nicely polished like most Apple cases; it feels like nails on a chalkboard sounds when you touch it. Ugh! Neither my boyfriend nor myself can stand to touch it; however, we like the other aspects of the case so much that I've super carefully taped the case in stages and have successfully coated all the metal in hi-gloss clear coat paint. Now it's perfect.

Build quality seems very good - feels solid and protects the iPad quite well. Keyboard is easy to use and works well. Sometimes you have to tap a key multiple times after the iPad has been asleep but I believe that’s the Bluetooth reconnecting. Once connected, it seems to work flawlessly. Having arrow keys is really nice for working in any text editor. Folding it closed protects the screen and makes it look like any other slim laptop.My only minor nit is that the rubber feet on bottom are too short when the screen is folded open about 100-120 degrees (where I use it most times) - its actually resting on the case around the iPad and not the rubber feet near the back. Not a big deal for me but if you were using it on a glass surface, it may lead to scratching. Taller rubber feet on the bottom would prevent this and could be added easily enough.

It really makes my iPad Pro feel like a Mac. Awesome keyboard and great battery life. Yes it’s a bit pricey but remember you get what you pay for; so this is worth every penny.

I like the keyboard and the fact that it made my iPad work like a computer for when I do a lot of writing. In a month, the hinge that held the iPad up failed, and the top flopped down, cracking the screen when it hit the table. I do not recommend this
