what are measurements: depth and width?

They are about: (width) 17" at front and 14" at back and corners have about 2 1/2" radius. (length) 15" front to back. Foam is about 2" thick. The foam has a cover (may be white, black, or a 3rd color) with a zipper to remove for washing. There are 2 adjustable velcro loops at each rear corner to help keep the in place on your chairs. They will be a bit small for most chairs, but I find mine useful and comfortable.

What is the material of front and on the back???

We have these cushions and the material on both sides appear to be a cotton blend. I'm uncertain how to describe, but they a sort of shiny.

Does this tie to a chair or just sit kn top with free movement

The ones I purchases have Velcro ties, but I have chairs that pads cannot be tied onto the back, so I just kept the Velcro tabs on, and Velcro-ed them together, and they are hardly noticeable. Works very well!

What size are the cushion?

Measuring front to back 15 1/4 inches. The front width is also 15 1/4 inches but look at the picture and how it narrows to 12 1/4 inches to the back. That's way too small. They look like petite cushions... not big enough for my kitchen chairs. My chairs measure 19 X 17 X 16. Regular cushions from Kohl's fit perfectly. I thought most cushions were standard like Kohl's. Guess I will be checking out Kohl's again. Hope that this helps.
