Easy to use and great value for money, the inserted dish is a bit tricky to take out and place back in the first time of use but you soon work it out ,cleaning is a breeze as there is no place for food to get trapped ,make sure to use on a dry surface so the rubber pads prevent the base from spinning

Does what it says , shreds chicken brilliantly

This is not flimsy plastic, but it isn't as sturdy and rigid as I was expecting it to be.Quite a large item, which has rubber on part of the base to help it to grip on a worktop or table.Clear instructions are provided to construct and use the product. Prior to the first use it is a case of inserting the two handling knobs until they click in place. Washing the parts before the initial use is advisable too.It shreds cooked chicken well and without much effort. Which is surprisingly good for plastic spikes. Due to the layout of the spikes, produce can get pushed towards the outer regions of the circle where there are no spikes and therefore it doesn't get shredded. Several times I have had to remove the lid and reposition lumps of chicken to ensure they get shredded. The more times the lid is turned, the finer the shreds will be. Do periodically keep checking the status, so you obtain the texture you want.Washing by hand with a washing up brush is straightforward. Water can accumulate in the shafts of the knobs. As the knobs click into place they cannot be removed, so allow sufficient air drying time.The internal lift out tray is useful to remove the shredded product. I have found a few fine strands of chicken have ended up in the internal base. Most probably having fallen through one of the numerous holes in the removable tray. Refitting the tray can be a little fiddly to get the holes and spikes exactly lined up.Psychologically I find viewing and eating a mound of cooked shredded chicken feels like I am consuming way more than what the equivalent solid chicken breast is. I feel fuller afterwards. Other benefits include cooked shredded chicken/turkey/meat is easier to mix in amongst rice; cooked shredded chicken/turkey & mayo is simple to mix together; and cooked shredded meat/poultry is far easier to chew.

Didn’t know such a thing existed until this popped up.It strangely does exactly as it describes, although you have to shred smaller portions as you would expect really, overload this and it just won’t work.Results are great, shredded meat, all meats not just chicken, which is much faster and much cleaner than doing by hand. Cleaning is really easy and is dishwasher safe.This requires some minimal construction when received but instructions are included and it is a quick and easy process.I should add that occasionally you do get left with pieces of unshredded meat as they have escaped to the outer edges of the unit whilst shredding, we simply remove most of the shredded meat and either just add the remaining meat to be shredded or just have a few more twists of those bits that need shredding, no real hardship but maybe a small design floor. I do stress this is a minor observation.A really good unit that makes a time consuming messy process and makes it clean and easyRecommended

When we need to make a dish where we need to shred chicken it does take some time due to the amount we use. Not good for the hands to do so much chicken quite tiring.This item does save time, it's a cleaner way of shredding chicken and better for your hands as well. The only concern I have is it's durability. Feels a bit flimsy which knowing my Mrs heavy handling will probably break at some point . Hopefully it will last.

This is a very simple but effective and speedy way to shred meat. Open the shredder, place cooked meat inside, put the top back on and rotate the top. The prongs pull the meat apart. Very good and good value for money.

Je cuisine souvent de la nourriture mexicaine avec du poulet, et cet outil est exactement ce qui me manquait pour rendre la préparation plus rapide et facile.Fait exactement ce pourquoi il a été conçu.Je le recommande vivement.Ça aide vraiment pour économiser mon temps en cuisinant.Je suis trop contente de l'avoir trouvé !C'est juste un tout petit peu galère à nettoyer, mais ça vaut la peine.

Kannte so ein Gerät nur in klein, für Kräuter, aber das ist einfach so hilfreich, meistens mach ich Hähnchen rein, paar mal gedreht und das ganze ist kleingeschreddert. Empfehlenswert

Très pratique pour broyer votre poulet.Plus besoin de passer un temps fou à arracher à la main des filaments de poulet.Il vous suffit de placer vos morceaux de poulet dans l'appareil et le tour est joué.

The media could not be loaded. You have no idea how much I love this little guy. I use it weekly for meal-prep; I make a big batch of shredded chicken and I just mix it in burrito bowls, tacos, sandwiches, pasta (I made a white lasagna with shredded chicken and it was amazing -don’t come for me italians 😂🙈). The use is so simple, just twist and twist and will leave the most perfectly shredded chicken ( I havent tried with other types of meats). You can throw it in the dishwasher easily, just be mindful of the little arrow inside to make both pieces connect, I spent a little while trying to make it fit. Totally recommended from my side.
