I purchased this because I already owned a Kommanderski, and wanted to add an Amphibia. The red and white Zulu band is eye-catching (thus far, the only NATO or Zulu in my collection), and the KGB emblem makes for an intriguing piece of Cold War memorabilia. Since owning it, I've found it to be an excellent timepiece, dependable and reliable, one of the best I have.

As stated in the title, this watch is surprisingly accurate, I was under the impression I would have to be setting the time often to maintain a semblance of accuracy, but that was not the case, Each day the accuracy only drifts by < 10 seconds. Additionally, the power reserve is quite decent! Many times now I have gone to put on my watch, expecting to reset the time only to find it still keeping time! Long story short: I am more than happy!

This watch is a steal. It keeps time as accurately as my Rolex, is waterproof to 600 ft., looks great and is a guaranteed conversation starter. Why pay thousands more for a Swiss movement when you can get something as just as good and as good looking for so much less?

Very happy with the watch. Built like a tank and wears well on the milanese bracelet. Has a Cold War vibe. Just a neat watch all the way around and only took a few days to arrive.

Our school in India was heavily influenced by Russian way's of life and it's ways of development, and since then I have always been wanting things from Russia.This is my second watch manufactured by Vostok and I am extremely grateful to this seller for providing this marvelous and yet affordable masterpiece. Komitet gosudarstvennoy bezopasnosti, or the KGB, who wouldn't want to go back to those day's.This time piece works on the dot, can also be hacked and needs no charging or batteries ever.
