High quality and affordable intercom system
If you are looking for a great value motorcycle intercom then look no further. I spent a long time checking out the main brands but was put off by the extortionate prices being charged for these devices. The FODSPORTS one works great, connects easily and has perfectly acceptable call and music playback quality. The price of under $80 with the promotion is very good value for what you get. Installation was easy and quick on my helmet and the FM radio is super useful and works well. If you register your product after buying it, you get another 6 months of warranty too on top of the 12 months it comes with. Can’t really go wrong with this intercom. Highly recommended

Amazing quality for chatting up in a storm
Incredible, my review may not benefit a lot of you, however I Bought this for snowmobiling, it gets to tempatures of -10 and I needed a system where I could talk to my sister at the back of the group, ask if all went well then I would buy 4 more for the entire group, and long behold, I absolutely will, it holds up really good to the elements like snow, rain, low tempatures, and such. Its range is good since I can hear her up to a mile away, which can be longer if you have someone else in between you and the other person with the headset, the buttons work good and I like the set up for them since the big volume knob is also the pause botton so it's easy to feel where it is, it's nice and small so you don't feel it mess with your head at all, it's easy to transport and good portability as long as your not switching it between helmets, it has really good grip and won't come off easily, the cords are sometimes a pain but once you figure out how to set it up it becomes very easy, so yeah, this is a good choice, and I'll buy more for next year.

Good hardware potential, but not a true standalone solution
I went into the Fodsports FX8 PRO after reading a lot of mixed reviews. Enough people compared it to higher-end systems that I decided to give it a shot. Bottom line: I was underwhelmed as a standalone unit. First, Fodsports’ product lineup is confusing. There are too many overlapping models, each with different tradeoffs—USB-C on one, mini-USB on another, mesh on one but outdated hardware elsewhere. Instead of a clear “best option,” it feels like you’re choosing between compromises. Second, be cautious with online reviews. Many are from content creators who received the product for free, and some didn’t seem to fully understand how to use it. That shows in the expectations vs. reality. I chose the FX8 PRO mainly for the 40mm speakers, which are larger than most competitors and sounded promising on paper. Installation: Straightforward and easy. Mount: The stick-on mount feels flimsy. Mine doesn’t inspire confidence long-term, especially on a curved helmet. App: The companion app feels underdeveloped—more like a marketing funnel than a useful control tool. Easy to accidentally trigger links to their marketplace. Sound Quality & Volume: This is the biggest weakness. Sound is tinny and volume is limited. Even at max volume (phone + unit), it’s only really usable up to ~50 mph before wind noise takes over. EQ options are minimal (bass/mid/treble presets only). Workaround (Important): If you have a modern Android phone and an Android Auto setup, you can significantly improve audio quality and volume through those systems. That’s the only reason I kept it—because it becomes usable in that configuration. Without it, I wouldn’t. Bluetooth Behavior: Inconsistent. It reconnects to my Android Auto device fine, but after stopping (fuel, food, etc.), it often reconnects to the phone without restoring audio. Requires a full power cycle to fix. FM Radio: Surprisingly good. Strong reception even in remote areas—this is a standout feature. Use Case Note: I ride solo and don’t use intercom or calls, so I can’t speak to those features. Portability: Not very flexible unless you buy additional accessories (which adds cost and still uses older connectors). Battery Life: Too early to evaluate. Summary: The FX8 PRO has some good hardware (especially the speakers), but it’s not a complete or satisfying standalone system. With a modern phone and Android Auto, it can be made usable—but that also defeats the purpose of a budget-friendly option. If you’re expecting plug-and-play performance on its own, this likely won’t meet expectations.

Good for the money.
Pretty decent for the price. I have 2 of these units now and have been pretty impressed. I have had some complaints about the noise canceling at higher speeds. We were able to connect this to the Cardo intercom with some guys I ride with and it worked really well. Music is loud and clear, the controls are pretty easy to work with. I do wish the auc input port would allow me to connect my GMRS radio do it so we could just use that for intercom instead, but it does not work that way. Overall worth the money and 1/4 the cost of a comparable cardo.

Great sound for price
For the price I was skeptical. As Cardo and other top brands are ALOT more. This unit performs very well. Crystal clear communication between my brother and I when we ride. And it doesn't pick up his harley which is obnoxiously loud. Set up is pretty straigh forward , and the sound seems darn good for the price. I'm really impressed with this. If you're not willing to spend 1000 plus for the name brand set up ( I wasn't), I'd give these a try.

Horrible Product!
I would rate 0 stars if possible. Absolutely disgusting product, a pain to connect to your phone initially, then when trying to connect to your friends it never works and claims they are offline even though they are right next to you with it turned on. They never auto reconnect either, have to go through the same bs process of force stopping and resetting the app until it finally says friends are online. Audio is garbage, even at full volume it is extremely hard to hear your fellow riders and the quality is measly at best. The range? Non-existent, what they claim is absolutely not true. Me and my friend will be riding within 10 yards of one another and it gets all static and muffled and disconnects non stop. You truly cannot stay connected at all, as soon as your group gets more than 10 yards apart it disconnects and loses signal. As a fellow Motorcycle, Snowmobile, and ATV rider, I highly advise AGAINST this product... to better understand my dislike for this product, I would trust 1 ply toilet paper after Taco Bell, more than this intercom system.
