I used to dread assembling furniture or fixing anything around the house, but this little guy makes it actually enjoyable.First off, it's surprisingly powerful. I put together a whole bookshelf with it, and it zipped through those screws like butter. No more struggling with a manual screwdriver and getting sore hands!But the real game changer is the built-in light. It's like having a mini spotlight right where you need it. I used it to fix a loose connection in my computer, and I could actually see what I was doing!Honestly, I can't recommend this screwdriver enough. I took this for my son, who will soon be living in a new place. In my family, my husband is the handyman, and he's teaching the boys the same skills. My husband says that a cheap IKEA tool set and an electric screwdriver could do the same job for a much lower price, but this set is really well-made and feels luxurious. It’s like driving a new Mercedes-Benz SUV instead of an old Toyota Camry. Both will get you to work, but your self-confidence and comfort won’t be the same.The box is a masterpiece -it opens with a slight push and holds the tools securely and working smoothly.The screwdriver works great, but it’s just that - a screwdriver. You can’t use it as a drill. The bits are top quality though.Overall, it’s a great present for someone who needs good tools and a bit of luxury. If you just need basic tools, though, you might not want to overpay.

This is however a very nice set that would make the perfect gift for first time homeowners (or anyone for that matter) who could use a handy set of well organized, decent quality assortment of the most used (and useful) tools for almost any home repair or DIY project.Drive or remove a screw of a variety of head types (flat, Phillips, hex or torx) using a cordless driver with 3 torque settings (up to 6 Nm…strong enough for most household projects) and a 2AH battery. The power driver has a light to assist in those dark spots (or for people like me with challenged eyesight). The kit included 10 bits and an extension, a claw hammer (with cap), an adjustable spanner wrench, long nose pliers with a spring built into the handle, a 16’ tape measure, the electric screwdriver, a utility knife, and 10 pcs set of hex keys.The pliers and spanner are high quality…meaning they have some weight to them; they are not loose with the mechanics flopping around. They are made of long-lasting stainless steel with rubber coated handles for comfort. The hammer cannot be compared to a framer’s or roofer’s hammer…because it’s not. But it will drive nails for hanging a picture or most any other home DIY project. The tape measure, knife and hex keys do and perform exactly as you would expect and as they should.The carrying case is pretty slick with a push down on the handle the inner case will release to exhibit a well thought out design and placement of the assorted tool set. All tools and accessories are held in place by a set of small clips and are easily removed by disengaging the clip. Your most needed and most used tools will always be right here in this handy “Household Tool Kit for Home Repairs”.I love this kit…HOWEVER…at $140??? A person can find a pretty complete set of quality, name brand tools for that price. It may not have a slick carrying case and a power screwdriver, but you can get a lot more bang for the buck.5 Stars for quality and innovation…minus 1 star for the (IMO) high price.

I was satisfied with these tools. The case was useless.But the tools were what i was after. Well made, great guarantee, just what I needed. Screwdrivers are a plus. Heads don't disintegrate. Yes. I would recommend this set for a starter or intermediate user

This kit is fine for basic repairs around the house. It is not meant for any extensive hardcore mechanics. You can use this to put furniture together or tighten up some loose screws around the house. Other than that you have reached the limit of this kit.
