Upon opening this grounding mat, which had been recommended by a friend, I put it on the floor, took my shoes and socks off, and immediately felt a wave of calm come over me. The sensation was similar to the calm that comes from listen to or being at the ocean, or next to a running brook. Almost instantaneously I felt calmer and well more grounded, dug.I moved it to my bed to try sleeping on, and I now sleep through 99%of the nights (bare legs and feet touching the mat while I sleep. Sometimes, I wake with myself curled up in partial fetal position with as much of me sleeping on the mat as possible. I've had, deep, relaxing, mostly uninterrupted sleep since starting to use it. It never leaves the bed, and wake 99% of the mornings, feeling rested and refreshed. If I could afford it, I'd buy a 2nd one to have in my home office/LR.

This mat is just a negative ground source. The tester shows you that it will conduct electricity. Touch the tester to plastic and no light. Touch it to metal and the light comes on. Touch it to the mat and lights comes on. To test your mat after plugged in use a om meter at DCV 200m Black probe to ground source and red probe in your hand with skin contact Step on and off the mat with bare feet and watch the meter go up and down.

Good Mat. Good conductive material. BUT the flat two prong tester is NOT a continuity tester. It is a battery circuit. If you touch any metal surface, a ring on your finger, a metal fork or a coin it will light up. A person needs to buy a CONTINUITY tester. This accessory is misleading. Cute but not functional for grounding continuity.

I was really excited to try this grounding mat, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste of money. It stopped working after just the second use, which was extremely disappointing. By the time I realized it wasn’t functioning properly, the 30-day return window had already closed, so I couldn’t get a refund or replacement. Overall, this product is very poor quality and definitely not worth the price. I would not recommend it.

While I'd rather be barefoot outside, I'm not one that can handle the cold in bare feet. We bought two of these mats so my husband and I both had them. We did a test to make sure they were working and it was wild seeing the body voltage go to zero. I only gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure what it will actually do for me but it does work.

I just started using a grounding mat and this one is great. The 35 x 23 size makes it very versatile, like standing or sitting or even laying down. That's what i love about it. Plus, they include the conductivity pen that lets you know that the mat is grounded.

Larger than I need but great quality. I just need to use it more. Didn’t like sleeping on it so use while sitting in my chair
