Better Than Gravy Gravy Mix Beef, 1 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I have bought this product before. It is very easy to make and very tasty. I have used in the make soup, gravy. The vendor here processed my order quickly. This is my second order from the vendor.

They quit selling the dry packets at the grocery store. I love my brown gravy, so I ordered this from Amazon.

I make this and serve it over rice. Ummm, 'rice n' gravy.' Simple, quick and delicious.It is thick, not sallty and tastes 99% like real thing. Add some protein like steak, roast or other meat and a vegetable to the 'rice n' gravy' and have a cheap FEAST.One package only makes 1 1/2 cups of gravy, but if you add it to pan juices, it would be so so so good.

This product couldn’t be easier to use and has the best flavor of any gravy mix I have tried.I used this as a base for a red wine sauce that was sensational.

In the past I've bought this Better Than Gravy made with real beef broth in a local grocery store. They no longer have it. I love its flavor. There is also a turkey flavor.

Liked flavor, consistency, ease of preparation. Have also added it to beef stew gravy.

This "better than" should be named "worst ever" IMHO. While the color is good, it is flavorless, has no aroma, and very watery when following directions on back of packet. Trying to thicken with cornstarch or boost tastelessness with Worcester sauce or drippings is all to no avail. Stay away from this one!As a good quick-fix gravy, try any of the Knorr offerings, or Tony Chachere products instead. Heinz is also good for the jar variety.

Not sure what this is but feels hard like a chip of bark. Lots of smaller fibrous bits that don't seems to dissolve and this one chunk of wood-loke material. After preparing 4-6 envelopes and liked the results but then prepared 2 to get this junk, tossed that and had 2 more bad envelopes. Then found 2 that were ok. Will avoid these for a while I think.
