Full Spectrum White Peony Root Extract Powder - Wild Cultivated (90g)

High quality white peony - ten times better than a tincture. Simply mix the required dose into hot water (my preferred method of consumption) for a strong, bitter yet effective tea. Noticed a marked improvement in cycle length and regularity. Only take in the first of menstrual cycle up until ovulation day alongside dong quai and other supplements due to TTC. Highly recommended.

The delivery of the White Peony extract came faster than the expected date, and the item was well packaged, ass well as the container itself being very sturdy.The root extract as a tea is very bitter, but I take it for medical reasons, and so far it has been good. If you want it as a tea, I'd suggest having a very small amount of it, less than 1/8 a teaspoon because it is so concentrated, with something maybe like honey.For me, I take the 1/4 as said on the product, and I mix it with a small amount of slightly hot water to dissolve it, then drink it in one or two mouthfuls.Wonderful product, and it will last a loooong time.

I use it to help me with my mild anxiety and stress at work. It does work if I take it everyday but I have to say that it tastes horrible; imagine black double expresso with no sugar x 5 times bitter. I tried drinking it in many sweet drinks but unfortunately does not help much. I wish it was in a capsule.

I am yet to find a possible way of consuming this. I naively stirred it into a herbal tea the first day...would have been easier to drink dissolved paracetamol. It really activates my gag reflex, and I'm normally pretty tough with just swallowing things. It's a very fine powder so if it's not stirred into something you end up inhaling it. I've tried all kinds of ways to eat it: mixed all in one to a spoonful of yoghurt with sweetener, mixed in a smoothie, stirred into my porridge, stirred into extra sweetened hot chocolate...nope. I'm trying to just dump it on top of a spoonful of something and swallow whole, but the powder doesn't stick! It is such a strong taste it overwhelms anything else, and it's not just bitter it tastes so bad it feels like it must be poison! I've found a paper silica gel bag inside the powder too I'm not sure what to do with. I've been force feeding myself for a few days and can't make any comment on notable effectiveness thus far.
