I bought this sword quite some time ago for my 3 year old, to go with his pirate outfit.I didn't think it would survive as long as it has, and he is still playing with it regularly!Recommended

Excellent for the price!
This cutlass is put to good use when 3 year old Zac is playing pirates with Granddad. It looks effective and is good value for the price. But it is plastic and may not put up with very robust use by older children. Wish I had bought a couple and will probably buy another - it's the sort of toy that will always be popular.

Hood for costume party but not as toy for kids.sharp ish edges and quite dangerous. Would buy soft one next time

What can I say a TAT plastic pirate culass is as much a required part of the pirate costume as a Sgian Dubh is to the kilt.
