Kucht KRG3618U/LP-S Professional 36" 5.2 cu. ft. Propane Gas Range with Sealed Burners and Convection Oven, Stainless-Steel, 36 inches, Classic Silver

Just arrived, installed easily (although the manual shows you very limited places for the electrical and gas, I found the back of the unit to be very forgiving). Playing with the burners shows a very fine control and lots of options. I will update after a couple months of use...very anxious to live with it to see how well it performs. It is sturdy, attractive, well-built. I expect it to last a lifetime.

This stove has been a nightmare from the beginning. During the first use, an igniter cable for a burner melted due to the way the cable was run. What Kucht claimed would be a "5 minute fix for anyone with a screwdriver" ended up taking three hours and involved drilling multiple holes in the stove to run the cables through a different path. After a short time of use (4 months) the oven quit working. Kucht said that the problem was the oven igniter and sent a new one that they claimed was an improvement. After another few weeks the oven quit again. Kucht said it was the oven igniter again and the first one was probably banged around in shipping so this one should fix the problem. Fast forward another few weeks and the oven quit again. Once again they sent a new igniter. Keep in mind that every time the oven quits we are without the ability to cook for more than a week as Kucht does not send the parts with expedited shipping.After approximately the 5th time the oven had stopped working they sent a new safety valve, and had an appliance repair company come replace it. We were told that if this did not fix the problem that they would work with us to get a replacement stove or refund. Approximately 4 - 6 weeks later the igniter needed replaced again. Kucht refused to work with us on replacement stove or refund as they had said they would.We have now had the stove for 3 years. I delayed in posting a review as I don't like to give a business negative feedback, and was really hoping that it would get fixed at some point and work properly, but this product has been so terrible that I want to help others avoid making the same mistake that we did in buying this stove. In total I have now replaced the oven igniter 9 times by my best guess in looking at tracking emails. During one replacement I noticed that the burner ring in the oven was bulged and split. Kucht had a appliance repair company come replace it. The new burner ring has bulged and split in the same place and Kucht is now saying that it is not a problem and not to worry about it.As the end of the 2 year warranty period approached, we expressed concern that we were having continuous issues and wanted a replacement stove to try and resolve them before the warranty ran out. Kucht told us not to worry because they would just extend our warranty and continue to cover replacement parts. When the oven's broiler stopped working a month or so ago they did send us a new broiler igniter. After the difficult process of changing this igniter, the broiler still didn't work. Kucht said the problem is likely a safety valve now and that we would have to pay for a new one. When I told them we were supposed to have an extended warranty they stated that they did not see it on our account and we should have got it in writing.I would greatly discourage anyone from buying this product or anything else from Kucht.

Had to replace oven glow bar day two but tech help was outstanding and prompt.Oven works great so far.

It is exactly as described, well built, great looking oven.

We bought this at a big box store and accidentally got the wrong version. I chatted with customer support and they sent the conversion kit to me free of charge. The chat took about 5 mins and I had a tracking number at the end of it.The quality of this thing is really nice. Whoever said they had plastic nobs... well, our does not have plastic nobs. each one weighs like like 1 pound. I think its a great oven so far. Well designed and easy to clean. No frills. Just solid.

This is an updated review based on owning a unit for several years. The stove looks great and offers excellent temperature range and precision.Unfortunately, the stove doesn't stand up to cooking over time. Many components are plastic, and others are poorly manufactured. We've had to replace burner igniters, had the oven light switch crack in half (!), and had our oven igniter out. Customer service is polite and apologetic, but can't force management to order out of stock parts. Our oven hasn't worked for months, and no timeframe for new parts is forthcoming.I recommend avoiding the brand, not based on looks and day to day functionality, but on longevity and inability to repair.

We just purchased a kucht after a kitchen remodel. I was a bit worried about ordering without seeing it in person, but unfortunately no one has them in stock. The range arrived in perfect condition and was simple to hook up.My favorite function is simmer. I've never had a stove that would truly just simmer a pot, but this one does. It's pretty easy to clean, too. I also like the simplicity of the controls. No electronics, nothing to break down. You can't beat this range, especially for the price.

BEWARE-my stove worked well, and customer service was helpful, while still in warranty. Now, out of warranty, my oven has been non-functional for six weeks! I have called 5 times and still no replacement part. I was afraid of this when I purchased the stove, but was assured that they would fix it if there were any issues. Not true. Buy a stove from a brand you know and trust.
