Easy to use with practical light modes and on full lamp definitively does the job for the these dark winter nights. An added bonus with the red led function that flashes aswel for walking at night. 5 stars from me.Delivery was fast and batteries included 😎

Good head torch!

Good quality, I am impressed with it. I will eventually buy the rechargeable battery for this. I bought this for my Dad as a present and for the price I do think this would be a good gift for somone who likes the outdoors.

With over 40 years experience in the outdoors Including 10 years with a search and rescue team a good light is important. There are a lot of fancy torches on the market and I have a few through birthdays and Christmas presents. The Petzl Tacktikka head torch 300 lumens is a fairly simple offering. Press the top button One and you get the lower white setting, once more medium white, third time high white 300L, again red, Fifth and final mode red, then press again for off. Settings on white are all wide beam with very little penetration into the dark. Red setting ok for around camp to save your night vision. Lastly flashing red but not SOS. The head band is broad but not very long and no quick release. When the head band gets wet it stays that way for hours. Good tilt and takes the Petzl core rechargeable battery. Just walked the dogs for 2hrs in the rain. Apart from the head band the battery pack contents stayed dry, wiped over and left out to air dry.

Brilliant light for working and leisure

This is a quality product and a must for telescope star gazing.

Second one of these I've had (first got lost). Pretty no frills, 3 light levels in white (Brightest is very bright but will eat batteries!) with red light option as well to maintain night vision.

Strong light for a small headlamp. The red light is useful

I had a Tikka headlamp previously. I loved it and ended up giving it to a kid going hunting for the first time.The charging on this new one is great and it's an outstanding product.

Comfortable, very bright, well built, lightweight enough I forget I'm wearing it. Can't speak of battery life yet as I have only used this device for a few days. The band is heavy-duty compared to other lamps I have had, very easy to adjust. Works well riding a bike, plenty of distance to the beam to be able to go fast. The 300 lumen is plenty bright for just about any application I could think of. Red is perfect for nighttime. I go out fishing just before sun up during summer, which works well for this. If your still using handheld lights your missing out. I had a Petzl before until my son misplaced it. The best light I had used ever. I had 2 energizer cheapo lamps explode on my head within a month. I no longer use duracell. Energizer lithium only.
