Works perfectly.
This works perfectly. Very happy with the design, thickness, and performance. It's well made and feels as though it'll last a lifetime. When you use the proper router bushing there are no issue with use. Only side note is I wish it had measurements or hash marks to reference the position on the piece you are about to rout out. Yes I could've made my own template but for the cost and the fact it is made out of clear acrylic why bother making one.

The keyhole Template makes a keyhole longer than normal, but if you’re careful you can adjust.

Watch for tolerance
This is a great tool for making keyhole slots, no doubt. A few things to know though:- getting the template placed correctly for alignment to the piece being routed is difficult as there are no reference marks to indicate where the end of the slot will be- there is too much slop in the opening to the router guide (also a Powertec item) so if you don’t stay firmly against an edge, the slot will not remain straight

Too loose for straight cut
I purchased this template along with the powertec 5/8” bushing. I noticed my cut went crooked. The template is almost 1/8” larger than the bushing, so it won’t track straight. I should have bought the Rockler set up.

Awesome Keyhole template.
Perfect guide for an old guy! It makes the job of cutting a keyhole much easier and faster. Takes the guesswork out of the way.
