Great feature. Fire is easy to control with remote and has a nice flame effect which can be used without the heat . Easy to build and sturdy. Good size for a chimney breast

My fire has been up and running a few days and its far better than I could have imagined, even back up from the seller which I didn't need.It's far better than I could ever have imagined and excellent value for money. Times have moved on, fires now have a very realistic flame which can be adjusted according to taste. Need I say more, the fact that so many customers rave about this fire says it all. Outstanding fireplace suite. I am amazed at the speed of delivery just two days from placing my order, the delivery guy was very professional and friendly. He asked where I wanted the fireplace to go and he showed great care in his handling of both packages, which had no damage. My thanks to the delivery man.The fireplace is partly self assembly, as the mantel shelve, two side panels and the hearth are already assembled, they just needed to be attached to other panels. I found it very easy assemble, the fitting are supplied and are excellent quality. This fireplace is extremely well made all holes matched up perfectly. The instructions are clear. I found no damage at all including any chips, just so perfect.The actual fire is fantastic the coals look so real and the flame is the best that I have seen. The chrome is just lovely. The remote control is very easy to use it can turn on or off, change the flame setting with a total of four to choose from and adjust the temperature , set to timer to come on and a lot more. the hand control is neat and stylish and lights up on the window display. And the remote has a range from 4 metres (13 feet).I just love the back ground LED lights, there are 12 different lights which are stunning, the lights are also controlled by remote. I am so pleased and happy, roll on the winter ! My sincere thanks to the seller and I would buy again and I strongly recommend this Cayton fireplace to anyone

Arrived on time. Didn’t take too much effort to put together and looks good, just like the Amazon picture. Only downside is black wires and plug so had to buy a white extension cord so that it’s not stark against the skirting boards

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely love this fire, make my room look so cosy. Arrived a day before due date and was well packaged. The surround was so easy to assemble and look lovely when it's all set up with flame and mood light on, even the cat loves it lol. Had a little issue trying to get the remote to work but all I needed to do was press the reset button on the fire then the standby button on remote and everything worked perfectly. Perfect item for an amazing price would highly recommend this fireplace

This fire is stunning, everything about it. I purchased it for my uncle and he loves it, makes the room very cosy & warm.

Very happy, easy to put together on my own, looks great. Fan is a little noisy but i will rarely use it for heat. The lights are a bit "neon" for me so wont use them but im sure other people will use them. Remote didnt work but when i read the book and reset it, it did, although it seems quite complicated. The look is just right though.
