Follow the Rabbit-Proof Fence: First Nations Classics

This book beautifully describes the awful treatment of Australia’s indigenous population. It’s a wonderful insight that makes it a vicarious experience that is unfortunately all to common globally.

Ordered the book for a book club. Have seen the movie in the past, but haven't had a chance to read the book yet.I know it to be an amazing, true story and I'm anxious to see how the book compares to the movie.

I am still reading this book and it is an amazing true story. Talk about grit; those little girls certainly had their share. I must admit I am learning a lot from the book about Aboriginal history. The human spirit prevails!

It is a wonderful book. I had heard about the rabbit proof fence but didn't know where it took palce.
