I ordered these small cans of Nulo Ancient Grains Savory Stew with Whole Ingredients Puppy & Dog Food, for my little male dog who is getting up in his years. He has fewer teeth now and this food was easy for him to eat and it looked like great ingredients. He loved it and enjoyed every last can. It was easy on his stomach and it went fast each time I opened a can for him. I love that the ingredients were much cleaner than the norma wet foods you see in retail stores and would order again when it is in my budget.

I mix a little bit of this with my dogs kibble for more added benefits. She loves it and is so excited to eat her dinner now. When I only fed her kibble she would take ages to finish her dinner, now she eats it up quickly.

Besides choosing a quality made wholesome and nutritious dog food from a reliable brand, the real test then is how your canine companion embraces it. Well, you will know right away. When I added a can of this on top of the daily serving of her normal dry food, she immediately embraced it and it was awesome to see. Besides her vote of confidence, I am happy to know that this Ancient Grains Savory Stew with Whole Ingredients by Brand Nulo is made with quality in mind. The first several ingredients are Chicken, Chicken Broth, Pumpkin, Salmon, Salmon Broth, Sweet Potato, Coconut Oil, Red Quinoa. It indicates that this is complete and balanced and high in animal protein, made with real shreds of meat & whole grains of quinoa to provide optimal nutrition. Regarding feeding recommendations, the amount of food your dog requires will depend on activity, age, environment, and neuter status. As a starting point from puppy age to senior dog, it seems they suggest approximately between 1.75 - 2 cans/day per 5-7 lbs. of body weight. Well, my dog is over 50 lbs., so it seems I would need to feed my loved one 14 cans per day. Wow! That's more than this pack of 8 cans I just ordered. Based on this, for what it's worth, while it seems to be very high quality, and my dog loves it, I feel it's too pricey for me to serve as a main meal, especially based on the number of cans needed for a medium or large weight dog. Of course, you may feel differently and serve this as a main source of nutrition, or like me, as a topper to their regular dry food meals.

My dogs absolutely LOVED this. Now unfortunately as it's a bit on the steeper end for multiple dogs in the small can, they only get a tiny bit mixed in their kibble, but that did not stop the excitement from showing. They absolutely went NUTS for the smell of it! They acted like they were being served like Queens. Yay! A happy pup is a happy life. You know how sometimes it seems like your dog is smiling? My dogs were smiling, and no words I can give here will express how happy that makes me to see! Very impressed with the quality and scent from this brand.They ate it so quickly! I would absolutely love to give them even more. Highly recommend (and that's advice straight from my dogs!).

My g.s. loved this Nulo Ancient Grains Savory Stew with Whole Ingredients Puppy & Dog Food, Chicken, Tilapia, and Duck in Broth, 6.0 Ounce, 8 Cans. He ate it up, didnt seem to cause any issues. These are smaller cans so you might need to mix it in but my dog is bigger so onr can wouldnt suffice on its own.

We have 2 little terriers who really seem to enjoy this food. They will lick the bowl clean every time. I was worried about one of them having an allergy to the dry food she was eating, but she is not having any issue with this food. It also makes for an easy way to sneak supplements or other necessary things into their diets. They eat it so fast, I don't think they would have time to notice something hidden in there.

Nulo consistently makes high quality pet food. Their ingredient list is second only to home cooked meals for your pets, with the first 10 ingredients on the chicken and salmon flavor being real food. I can see this being great for a puppy or small dog, but if you have a large breed that requires more food, this will quickly become very expensive and may not be practical for all incomes.

My family has a chihuahua mixed breed and we recently switched from feeding her exclusively dry food to a mix of wet and dry. We decided to try the chicken, tilapia, and duck in broth mix, and it's been a great change for her. She loves it.Since we've started this mix, her stool consistency has changed; it's not too soft or firm, and she's more excited at mealtime. Overall, it's a good quality brand and I would recommend it.
