Cetraben Emollient Cream 500g - Moisturizing for Dry Skin, Eczema Relief, Whole Body, Adult Use, 17.6 Ounce

Deserves 10 stars! So many creams tour amazing results but deliver none! Cetraben is different. This is the only cream I can use on my whole body, especially on my face and it does everything it says it does. I have very inflamed roseacea and I can already see a difference on my red bumpy area of my face. My arms are moist for the first time in 20 years. This stuff is amazing and I will never be without it.

i have been using Cetraban for years. I first stumbled upon it because my daughterdaughter has suffered with dermatitis/eczema most of the lotions and creams n the shelves were doing nothing to help her in between flare ups. Actually my hubby also jus suffers from dry skin . Its as if his skin just swallows up the lotions, leaving no trace, that he'd ever used any. I was living in England at the time & my colleague had this on her desk. I had used some day after washing my hands (which were very dry) I noticed that my hands felt truly moisturized and it lasted. We got talking, she suggested I should buy it as she also really loves it. The only hitch was that you could only purchase it over the counter at a pharmacy. Now I live in the US. you can't purchase cetraban so readily here. we have tried all the major creams and lotions on the market for soothing dry skin & dermatitis, we have not found success with any them,, really aside from aquafor. but aquafor can be really thick and/or more vaseline based. Not necessarily ideal to use on the face. Some things that I love about Cetraban is that you can use it as an emolient, so fo my daughter, she can't use just any facial wash and we go through our share of body washes as well for that reason. I like that you can turn it into an emolient then turn around and use it as a moisturizer. It works really well on normal to extremely dry skin. it lasts for quite some time. you don't need to use loads. it has a locking mechanism to stop excess and also so you don't push on the pump by accident. We use this al around on everyone in my family. I introduced to my sister, who loves in France (here I would say they have pretty good creams and lotions in their pharmacy as well) but she also quite liked Cetraban. It's not something you can get there easily either. The consistency of the cream is not so thick you feel like you're wearing a mask. the cons- its hard to come by here in the US. it's on the expensive side (but worth it). The container it comes in is bulky and has a heavy base, so it's not a cream you can travel with on a plane or if weight is a factor in your travel.

Works well for general moisturizing. Didn’t do much to help my skin barrier and didn’t help my eczema. I saw Dr Vanita Rattan recommend this. I also didn’t like using it on my acne prone face. There were times when my eczema was flared and this slightly had that burning sensation(on my hands). But again, for just moisturizing it’s works well and keeps you moisturized the whole day. It’s very thick. Not too thick that it’s hard to apply. But it’s a good saturated type moisturizer. For my body this was a 4.5 stars; no eczema or skin barrier issues in this location. For the acne prone skin on my face a 3 star. And for my hands which got eczema flares, a 3 start during flares but 4 when my skin was calmer. I only used it at night. I wouldn’t use this type of moisturizer during the day.

Much more creamy but NOT greasy than others. Effective. Love it

This is a really nice lotion. I love that it's unscented. It's like something you'd find in a hospital. It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. It feels like your skin has a good barrier after applying. I can use it on my whole body, including my face which is super sensitive. I highly recommend, and I will be repurchasing.

This does a better job on my worst areas of eczema compared to other creams

This is an amazing moisture cream that really does what it says on the tin! I’ve tried many others - like E45 and the like but nothing works as well as this. I had an operation that left a severe hole in my neck that couldn’t be stitched and had to heal over itself. That was many years ago. As I’ve got older, my skin has thinned and sometime bleeds. This is what I needed the cream for to stop me picking at it and making it bleed further. This softens the skin and absorbs really well. I wouldn’t use anything else. Not cheap rubbish but an excellent product that actually works.

This cream was recommended by a friend’s dermatologist. I have over sensitive, dry, itchy skin in the winter and this thick rich cream settles it down. I apply it after my shower just before I go to bed...keeps me comfortable for 24 hours. Works just as well and feels the same as the Canadian product I’ve used and that just had a massive price hike. I like to shop Canadian but not for twice the price.

I like this product. It's moisturizing, and a little goes a long way. I finished a bottle and ordered a new one. I use this for my body and like a moisturizer for my lady part. No itching, no oiliness; it's just right. I also use this for my son's eczema. Again very moisturizing. I apply it to his skin straight from a bath when damp. If you have eczema, this is a good product for you. If you want a moisturizer for flower ladies this is for you. A little goes a long way. I Am not saying it's an end-all-be-all but a good start.

I've been battling extreme dry and chappy face, which kept peeling and stinging for a year,my skin was literally addicted to moisturize.I was using CeraVe moisturizing cream and lotion,it worked for a short period to soothe it but had to keep reapplying because it will dry off and the cycle continuous.I watch Dr Vinita on YouTube and she recommended Cetraben,I tried and I'm never ever going back. It's just everything my skin needs,I only have to apply once and I'm good to go.My skin is also becoming uniforms as I was suffering discoloration due to peeling. Good thing is,it doesn't cause any break out. I'm stucked.
