This is a unique document about a remarkable saintly man who has not fallen prey to media attention and publicity hungry journalists.Here is the living example of a simple, honest and truthful man who is clearly much advanced on the ladder of human evolution, i.e. on the ladder of consciousness. Dandi swami was a disciple of Svami Shantananda Sarasvati, the successor of Svami Brahmananda Sarasvati (Guru Deva) of Jyotirmath. Because of typically Indian machinations about the succession in Jyotir Math led by 'revolutionary svami Svarupananda' he abdicated in 1980 from the Jyotirmath Pitham as such legal quarrels were not compatible with the function of Shankaracarya. There is quite a lot of information about this succession issue. As a side issue there is also little published information about self-styled Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and his TM movement.
