Great for flagpoles
Used mine to install a 1.5" diameter 10' PVC flagpole (w/3x5 flag). Works fantastic and stays in place. Could use with a metal pole if preferred. Holder is much more heavy duty than I expected. Will be buying again for large umbrella(s) where I don't trust a water/sand filled holder to maintain stability.

Absolutely worth
These are absolutely worth. Used them to ancher a couple of fence post and these things are awesome. Will be buying more to finish out my fence.
