Quite simply, the difference between success and failure!
I must say I could not recommend these enough! I was having problems with my trainers only 4 weeks out from my first marathon (I've been running for years, but happened to be finally entering my first 26 miler after injuries etc.). My trainers (Asics Gel Nimbus 14 that I'd owned for a year at that point) were rubbing on the inside of the arches of my foot, due to a terribly placed seam and trim at that particular pressure point. It was a bizarre place to be causing blisters! I was recommended these patches as blister prevention at the same time as I bought new trainers (Adidas Adi-boost FYI - highly recommed over Asics in my experience!) and '1000 mile' socks. It is common advice not to change any footware when training for long distance events, never mind 4 weeks out from the start, having done most of my training already. However, I was finishing runs of 15+ miles with bare red skin and blood everywhere, so it just had to change if I was to finish the marathon. With already badly damaged feet, I placed the patches into the new trainers as instructed, and with the combination of shoe, sock, and blister pads working in tandem, I ran a 10k the day after a 15 mile training run that had shredded my feet, with no problems whatsoever, even with brand new trainers that would have been expected to cause their own problems until they were bedded in properly. I have since reviewed both other new products with 5* ratings as well, but I think the blister pads were the real heroes, having worn them in squash shoes since then, where they managed to prevent hot points developing in my toes from totally different foot/shoe movements. I highly recommend these; I'm convinced they will dramatically (if not totally!) reduce your blister issues, and I have already seen that amongst friends I've recommended them to as well. Just a superb product that I wish I'd owned for many years! You'll be pleased to know I ran the Bristol-Bath Marathon in October in 3:59:46...14 seconds under my 4 hour target, success!!

They Work!
We went on a hiking trip to Scotland, and I was the least fit of the group. There are a couple of spots on my feet where I usually get blisters, and I was keen to try and limit injuries, so I looked for blogs about blister prevention one of which mentioned this specific brand. These patches do exactly what they promise. They allow your skin to slip slightly against the lining of your walking boots, so that your skin doesn't have to absorb the friction and separate, forming a blister. I couldn't believe that I was able to enjoy 9 days of blister-free walking, taking full advantage of spectacular sunny weather. Yes, they're pricey, but I recommend these patches 100%.

Work as advertised, would recommend.
Worked just as they said they would. Usually get blisters on my toes whenever I play squash/football. Figured I would give these a try and don't regret it. Didn't get any blisters on my toes. My only concern is that the other areas of my foot that seemed to rub a bit before rubbed more with these protecting my toes. I am guessing if there is less grip/friction where these are applied then if you have other problem areas the friction may increase there as a result. Since I cant tell whether that's just me being weird, imagining it, or having particularly bad trainers I thought i would mention it and let people decide for themselves.

Donโt buy
Poor quality, only lasted a few runs before peeling off. Bad value for money.

Wonder Pads!!!
I have to admit I was skeptical about these. The idea that a simplistic 'sticker' could prevent a blister forming having tried everything from expensive bespoke footwear, insoles and special socks, was one of those 'surely this is too good to be true' moments. But, having suffered from blisters due to overpronation and other poor running form, I was at a last resort when I hit a random search on Amazon for 'blister prevention'. To say I was surprised by the results is a bit of an understatement. A few weeks earlier, I had purchased a very expensive pair of professional running shoes believing that it was simply my cheap old ones that were causing the problem of my blisters (which were on the inside of the ball of my feet). The new running shoes, though very comfortable, made no difference to the development of blisters. I was training for a half marathon, so I was running 13 miles a couple of times a week, so this was becoming a problem. Step in these little beauties! - For test 1 I placed a couple of these into just one of my running shoes, and after a 10 mile run I couldn't believe it. Where my left foot (with no patches) still blistered as before, my right foot (with patches) literally didn't blister at all. That usual burning sensation you feel when a blister is starting to form as you train - gone. A week later, with feet still healing, I put them in both shoes and ran the North London Half Marathon - no blisters. I cannot recommend these enough.

OK, but very poor value for money
These stickers work OK, till your sock catches them, then they can start failing. But they are also so ridiculously expensive for what you get. Basically a shiny sticker.

Fab product, you must get them
Well I can't not praise this product or the supplier enough, when the product arrived, I thought no way will these work and stop blisters, I emailed supplier for a refund as I thought they would be rubbish and expensive, supplier was fab, explained how the product worked and how good they are, he did offer a return, but I decided to keep them. SO PLEASED I did, magic!, I worn new walking boots, went on a five hour walk in the Lakes, not a blister, sign of one or any problems with my feet at all, I usually suffer greatly with heel blisters, and so was a bit worried They would not work, but YES you must buy them, even though they are but pricy, worth every penny, I will buy more, I bought the bigger pack

What blisters?!
I can't recommend these patches enough. Since discovering them I have gone from constant blister under my arch (from running) to no blisters. I trained for a marathon and ran said marathon and no blisters. They stick really well. I have had the same ones on my orthotics that i wear daily (and move to my trainers when running) and they lasted through training for a marathon (400+ miles), running it and a further 6 months of wear before I had to replace the one on the right shoe. The one on the left is still going. Now I don't want to say you will never get blisters if you use these, I do also wear two layer socks and on longer runs i use a blister prevention stick as well, but i still got blisters when i just used the two layer socks and blister prevention stick... They are easy to apply, they last and I tell anyone who has an area that rubs on their shoes that they should try these out.

Great
These work really well for preventing blisters when I go skateboarding. I dont feel any friction and its very comfortable. I would definitely buy again. Only downside ks I wish more came with the package, especially for the cost.

Very satisfied, works great, would buy again.
My threading on the back of my new shoes were scratching my skin really badly. My friend was telling me that I had to just keep wearing it to break into them but I felt that it wasn't worth the pain. So I got these patches and they work really well. I applied the large oval patch on the backs of my shoe and then used a scissor to cut the tips into strips (in the pictures) so that they could fold nicely on the edges. They're really sticky and they're sticky enough such that if you mess up/it's not straight, you can peel off that region to reposition it. From the pictures I thought it would be a felt texture but it feels more like a smooth duct tape-kind of surface. Yes, my shoes look a little weird now with blue tape on the back, but I don't care because the shoes are comfortable and comfort is the number 1 priority for me.

They Work.
I am a long distance walker, hiker, and backpacker. I have been using these patches for several years. They prevent blisters on the balls and heels of my feet. They also work for placement anywhere needed. I have been experimenting for over 30 years to build a combination of boots, socks, insoles, and blister prevention that works. I have found a few that work but none better than: Merrell Moab 2 GTX Mid boots, Wright socks, Sofsole Perform Athlete insoles, and ENGO patches. I give most of the credit to the Wright socks and ENGO patches. I suspect that combination would work with many different boot and insole combos. I have never had any trouble with the adhesive and I do a lot of my walking in the heat of Texas and Arizona. I'm on road and trail approximately 150-175 miles a month doing between 5 and 20 miles each hike (I even did a 40 miler last spring. My feet were sore and tired but without blisters or even hot spots.) I get 4 or 5 months out each set of these patches. I think the double layer Wright socks are taking up a lot of the sliding and making the patches last longer. That's a good thing because they are a bit pricey. I would like to say I will stop buying them because they cost too much but I won't. That's because I'm an old retired guy now and I need all the help I can get to stay out in the woods. Happy Trails.

Effective
I am very blister prone, used these plus the larger version under the balls of my feet for a 100 mile race and had zero blisters. Highly recommend. Ordered more for my new shoes, they are now essential adds.
