40amp breaker and 10guage wire is not allowed by code here USA/canada

Has to be hard wired to 220 breaker
My kids got me this for Christmas. I feel like it should be made clear that no cords come with this and it has to be hard wired to a 220 breaker. I don’t know yet if it works because I haven’t managed to get it installed yet.
