5T doesn’t fit a 3 year old
The product is overall fine, but the size is crazy small. We ordered 5T and the item that came had just one tag labeled “M” and it it too small for my 3 year old, with the bottoms of the legs around her knees. Will be returning.

Well-Made, Very Soft, 3-Way Zipper, But Child Measurements Questionable
The one I purchased via eBay sold as 18- Months was well-made, very soft and didn't have the chemical odor mentioned in one review. Innovatively, its zipper actually has 3 pulls and extends about 4 inches up the back presumably to make either diaper changes or using the potty easier. Mine is supposedly 3 layers of muslin (some are 4) and is thicker/warmer than I expected it to be - 1.0 TOG is likely correct. The Japanese sizing for these can be a problem. Mine was sold as 18-months, but it's tag indicates Large so it's possible it's really the 2T. Product in any size is roomy, so Shoulder and Chest shouldn't be critical. However, the back of the neck opening is only 4.5" which might bug some children and to me what IS critical (and should be provided by the seller) is the length of the MAIN part of the bag in which the child's full length SHOULDER to TOES is supposed to fit during the night. THAT length for the one I bought is 22", which if we could be certain it was the 18m size, would give you an idea. My advice is if your child is an average U.S. 2-year-old, don't chance it (except maybe the 5T if you can find one), for younger ones, buy the biggest size and if need be you can order another smaller one. Overall - great product if you can figure out what size to buy.
