Coming from a Pinecil (which I loved), this is an improvement in every way. It's more comfortable due to the larger diameter of the handle. The tips change out w/o the need of tools. It heats up quickly and maintains it's heat well. The display is large and easy to read. I also like the little animation when it's heating up.. it just looks cool. It retains the things I like about the Pinecil - it's portable and can be powered from a usb-c PD battery pack. The silicone usb-c cable is nice and flexible also.

Great sleek iron been using it for many projects here recently. All the tips it came with are fantastic and solder very well. Pretty powerful device that gets hot fast, very easy to carry around but if using it while on the go you'll want to keep an eye on the your power brick to ensure it will actually keep your iron hot. I'm not the best at soldering but I'm still able to solder these small things with it so came complain ultimately.

I really like the size and weight of this iron. It heats up very quickly and has lots of customizable settings. Being left-handed, I appreciate the ability to flip this display. For most of my soldering, I find that chisel tips work the best, since they are able to quickly heat the pad and the part at the same time. Despite coming with 6 tips - there were no chisels. The oval (some call it "horseshoe") tip does not have a well for easier drag soldering of SMD chips. I ordered 2 third-party chisels and an oval tip with a well to complete my kit.

I have attempted to contact the manufacturer (FNIRSI) multiple times for warranty service, but I have received no response.This is very disappointing. I expected better product quality and reliable support, especially when warranty service is advertised. Right now, I am left with a non-functional tool and no help from the seller.Amazon, please assist with this issue. I would appreciate a refund, replacement, or help in contacting the manufacturer.
