RAGGEDedge Gear has been in the business of making quality, built-to-last goods since 1997. We introduced our first wallets in 2005. After being frustrated with how quickly the wallets we bought fell apart, we started making our own version thats built to handle the extreme conditions of an active lifestyle. A life sometimes lived on the so called "ragged edge." These hard wearing wallets are known for their long lasting durability, even in the hands (and pockets) of people who consider themselves to be rough on their stuff. One thing is for sure. Thin is in. This sleek carbon fiber iPhone wallet is about as thin as it gets when it comes to a wallet phone case carry option. We decided to forgo any extra padding, instead choosing to focus on a slim profile with supremely simple functionality. Phone and cards fit securely. Materials Matter Our gear is built out of high performance laminate sailcloth engineered specifically to perform in a wet environment, very efficiently turn wind into power, and maintain their integrity for the duration of their life as a sail. The sailcloth is inherently very strong, low stretch, and repels water, sweat & grime. Stitching Matters The stitching we use is called a triple step zig zag. It's the traditional stitch used to sew panels of sails together. One single line of straight stitch just isn't strong enough to withstand all of that force. Rather then sew two or three separate lines of stitching to give the seams the strength they need, sailmakers use the triple step zig zag. It's basically stitching with built in reinforcement. If there's a more hard core stitched gear out there, we haven't seen it.
