Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, Full Coverage, Anti-Ageing Effect, 8W Beige Warm 27ml

I do struggle with liquid foundations in general and have always been on the lookout for something that might actually work for my skin, I was hopeful with this one, but unfortunately it just wasn't to be.I have quite large pores, an oily central zone and suffer with uneven skin tone and redness. I prepped my skin with moisturiser and a primer and then applied this foundation. The plus points are that this foundation does have good coverage and I found in terms of colour it blended quite well. On the downside it did look quite cakey in areas and seemed to really dry my skin out, I am guessing because it is a matt finish foundation. It also sat in my pores and looked horrible.So once again I have not found a liquid foundation that works for me. I think if you don't suffer with large pores then this might be a foundation for you to try.

Not a bad foundation overall.I chose '2C Porcelain Cool' and I have to say, it's a good match for me, it blends into my skin very well, and doesn't leave me looking 'orange'.I have quite a bit of redness to my skin, and it did a decent job of covering that up, and calming it down slightly. (see my before and after photos)The foundation is lovely and easy to use, I really like the pump bottle, and my skin didn't feel cake-y with it on.However, I do feel that it isn't as 'Full Coverage' as it states, and it did sit a little around my nostrils etc.Considering the current price though, it's not bad, and I'll happily use this day-to-day, but it won't replace the other foundation I use.

This Collection Cosmetics Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation in 3N Ivory Neutral arrived in perfect condition, with no unpleasant smell, and in a lovely tube. It seems like it will last a long time, as only a small amount is needed for full coverage. While it does effectively cover redness and marks, which is fantastic, unfortunately, it didn’t work well with my ageing skin.The foundation’s texture is quite thick, and it highlighted my pores, which was disappointing. I think a lighter texture would suit me better. Additionally, the ivory shade is lighter than I expected, giving me a bit of a “costume” look rather than the subtle finish I hoped for on my nearly 45-year-old combination skin. This foundation might work really well on younger skin, but it wasn’t the best match for mine.
