Good bread slicer
Bought it to slice bread and it works a charm. Just a slight push and it slices through dense breads easily. Have not tried it on hard breads yet but I very happy with the performance so far. Also it is easy to clean.

Great meat lover tools.
Been wanting to purchase this kind of meat slicer for a a, finally got this good deal, my whole family loves eating meat, especially pho noodles, but eating pho noodles must have a thin layer meat in the soup, this is a great way to slice up the beef brisket from Costco, the size is it is perfect for a residential use, works perfectly fine, and it’s not that heavy so I have lifted it myself, you can choose the size of the piece you want, I even bought a big chunk of New York steak and sliced with it, save us lots of time too, and the cleaning of it was easy and fast , love it, recommend it.

works fine but will take a long time to clean
It works, and i got very thin slices successfully. I made 2 lbs of deli meat and ran it through and basically it was fine. Also a block of cheese. Cleaning it is difficult, will take more time to clean than do your cutting. The bits of food get everywhere. There are some areas you literally cannot reach. I had to fold up a piece of paper to get into the crevices and push out the food as well as use a brush to brush it all off. You'd best clean it immediately after use. Even the cleanest cuts on the block of cheese, I still got bits falling into small cracks and crevices. This issue alone is almost worth returning it, like it's almost not worth it. But I'm going to keep it because I think overall it is fine. Honestly going to have to go to the dollar store and find a brush and store it with this thing, you're going to need it. If you do use it, i suggest always turning it off if for any reason you need to put your hands ANYWHERE that is not on the handle that pushes the food or the handle that adjusts the thickness. Turn it off first before putting you hands anywhere else. I brushed my hand on the blade once and realized I could have had an accident.

can only run for 5 minutes then needs 15 minute rest.
The most important thing to understand about this slicer is that you're not buying a professional-grade machine, so don’t expect pro-level performance. I bought it as a test run to see if I liked roasting my own meat and slicing it for sandwiches, and I chose this model because it was budget-friendly. For that purpose, it served its role. That said, I had realistic expectations, and even then, I ran into a few frustrations. I sliced about 6 pounds of medium-rare round roast, and it took 3 hours across two sessions (not including cleaning). The biggest issue? It can only run for 5 minutes at a time, and then you have to let it rest for 15 minutes. I likely missed that detail in the product listing, but it’s something buyers should be aware of, especially if you're planning to do any kind of batch prep. Another thing: while the slicer technically goes down to 0mm, it really struggles to produce ultra-thin slices, which is a letdown if, like me, you prefer paper-thin deli cuts. ON the thicker cuts, or when the depth measurement opened up a little from my pressure on the slicing plate, it cut really well. As for cleaning, it’s a pain. While the blade does come off (which helps), meat tends to get everywhere—under the depth adjustment, into the blade gears, all over. I’ve had to use toothpicks to clean it out completely. If you’re just making 1 or 2 sandwiches, it’s hardly worth the time and mess. To me, it only makes sense to slice a full batch and deal with cleaning once (or twice, in my case). In the end, I’m not disappointed because I went in knowing this was an entry-level machine. But I was let down by the runtime limits and the cleaning hassle. If I had to do it again, I’d go for something a step up from this—not full commercial grade, but definitely beyond this model.

Not a bread slicer Hard to return without a charge of over $17
Very disappointed in this slicer. Doesnt slicer bread easily. Tears it up. I needed for my bread slicing. Wanted to return it because its not worth what it cost, since it rips my breads apart I dont have much use for it. Tried to return it but was advised of a return charge of over $17. The motor smells like it is struggling to sluce bread and smells like its over heating. Not happy with this unit at all. I need a slicer That is dependable and Slices professionally for my small home.

good and convenient
The electric meat slicer is a great addition to any kitchen. It's powerful, easy to use, and slices through meat. The adjustable thickness settings are a standout feature, allowing for customized cuts. Cleanup is straightforward with removable parts, though some areas may require extra attention. It's sturdy and feels durable, but it's a bit noisy during operation. Overall, it's a time-saving tool that delivers consistent results and is worth the investment for home cooks, espeically for hot pot!!! It's sharp!!!! Stay away from kids!!!!!!!

I ordered this to cut my sourdough bread. This grips the surface properly and doesn’t move while cutting. It was very easy to install and adjust the thickness of the slices. The design also makes it safe and it is easy to clean. I am happy with the product.
