This inner pot is only applicable to NS-TSC10 5.5 cup rice cooker. 2. Before purchasing, please confirm whether the model on the front of the rice cooker is NS-TSC10, 3.such as marked NS-TSC18 or other models are incompatible Origin : Mainland China Type : Rice Cooker Parts Review: Fits! - This is my second purchase of stainless pot for my beloved Zojirushi. First one (different brand) fit ok but did not seal properly so boiled over every time. Spent more on this one and it is perfect. Much heavier construction, hex texture bottom releases well if you let sit 10+ minutes after cooking cycle is done. Review: Good quality and good substitute for the original Zojirushi nonstick pan - I read the reviews, and it appears that some folks had issues with how the pot does not line up well with the lid on the Zojirushi rice cooker. I had no issue with this. I have used the pot several times with a perfect seal and no steam coming out while the rice is cooking. It took a while to wait for the shipping when I ordered it, and when I received it, I noticed it was very well made, heavy and sturdy stainless steel. I was cautious about what quality it was made of, but I have found it to be well made and good quality.

Doesn’t fit Zojirushi NS-TSC10
This pot did not fit my Zojirushi NS-TSC10 rice cooker, although the description said it would. When using the out the cooker wouldn’t seal correctly, allowing steam to escape from the sides of the pot and compromising the quality of the cooked rice.

Perfect safe alternative to the nonstick OEM insert!
This is the only stainless steel insert compatible with the Zojirushi NS-TSC10 5-cup rice cooker I could find. I originally used the nonstick (presumably PTFE/other fluoropolymer) insert that came with the Zojirushi cooker, but realized it’s not ideal for health reasons. Even with careful use, PFAS is always a concern from normal abrasion with wear/tear. I love my rice cooker and wanted to be able to continue to use it. I’m so happy to have found this perfectly safe stainless steel insert to use. My rice cooks perfectly! Of course the caveat is that this insert does stick, especially for jasmine and sushi rice. This is to be expected. Cooking spray, or simply cleaning the insert immediately after cooking, avoids this issue.

Fits Zojirushi, but rice sticks to the bottem
The rice sticks to this. But Teflon isn't healthy, so you have to deal with it. The measurement marks inside this pan don't produce great rice. I use my old Zojirushi pan to measure the rice & water and then pour that into pan to cook it. This fits and works with my Zojiruhsi rice maker.

Zojirushi NS-TSC10 5-cup Stainless replacement pot!
I have an older Zojirushi NS-TSC10 5-cup rice cooker. The nonstick coating on the inner pot was scratched and felt unsafe. I had looked for months for a replacement. I just took a leap and bought this one. Wow! Perfect! Cooks well…I add a little oil to the pot before cooking the rice, and I haven’t had any substantial sticking. 10/10

Stainless Steel heats up and burns the rice, will not stay soft for extended period
Purchased this product in Oct 2024. It fits the Zojirushi model i have an works as expected in cooking. We noticed on the very first cook and subsequent cookings that it tends to heat up more than the OEM pot that came with it. The rice gets a little dried out on the initial cook, but is generally fine. THE REAL PROBLEM, this stainless pot does a poor job of keeping the rice warm. Within 12 hours the rice will be completely dried out and inedible. This is a problem. With the original pot, the rice can stay hot for 24 hours, even two days and still be fine to eat. Real bummer. I don't know if there is a solution to keep using the stainless pot because we love to make a pot of rice and keep it warm for tomorrow's leftovers.
