I want to first say I love this straightener. I have long, dry, wavy, and this straightener gets the job done!!Here's few things I love about this straightener:(1) it's sleek design and light weight.(2) I don't even have to turn it on to the highest settings. I only set it to 320F ( but goes up to 430 F) and it was hot enough to straighten even my hair, yet puts out little heat on me which I love!(3) It also leaves my hair so smooth and doesn't make them dry and brittle.(4) The cord is extra long, longer than any of my other hair straighteners, and is great if you are in a space where outlet is far from a mirror, or at the gym trying to stay out of people's way while sharing a mirror.(5) The straightener comes with a swiveled cord so that means no more wire tangling while curling your hair.My only negative comment is that it doesn't come with an automatic shut off but for the price I don't even care.. Just don't forget to unplug it after you are done ;)Definitely recommend for people who need a new straightener!! Does NOT get hot enough... my hair is already pretty straight with the exception of the occasional bed head and a slight wave from wearing hair ties... and this flat iron doesn't do well with getting the wave out. It just doesn't get hot enough.I would like to add that although this straightener did not work for me the customer service team and support were amazing. They went above and beyond to make this purchase right. I'm please with the attention to my needs and the quick response from this professional team.Even though this item did not work for me I would definitely purchase from this company again.... :) -satisfied customer

I purchased this after looking at some photos and thinking it could be for me due to hair type (naturally curly) and my stylehouse one had cracked a bit on one of the plates, it didn't work for me. I use the coconut oil method for hair and other types to moisturize and condition hair. This is with this product and then perfect straight hair with my stylehouse one. I live in FL, so the humidity is harsh and this didn't work for me period. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, it leaves bumps in hair as you're going over it and not very fast, regardless just sectioning one piece off it doesn't do a good job.

Works ehhh as a straightener. I have to go over the chuck of hair multiple times. It also does not curl my hair and I have been using only straighteners to curl my hair for YEARS! disappointment since I bought this to use as a curler after reading some of the reviews and the fact it takes a little to straighten small portions of my hair. :(

Surprisingly nice for a $13 straightener. Other straighteners will work better but will cost you much more. This does the job for me, I have curly hair and I use this to straighten my bangs and create soft waves in my hair. Love it for now, but I’m the future might change this to my travel straightener and upgrade.

I bought this to make doll wigs from acrylic yarn and it works great for that. I used the lowest heat setting and it straightened the yarn without melting it at all. No issues whatsoever and a great product for the price. Very pleased with it.

Great item but I have one BIG complaint.The low mode is over 300 degrees Fahrenheit.If it had a power setting around 200 degrees Fahrenheit would better meet my needs.
