Needed for a Group set swap which came with a front derailleur that expected the mounting bracket to be fitted to the frame. Hence I needed this part to convert it to a band-on design. Comes suitable for 2 frame sizes - my frame was the larger size so removed the inner rubber adaptor. Fitted perfectly

This is Shimano's take in the front mech adapter that's sold as the specific adapter for the R9100 front mech. I believe that this one is an updated version, it has a bit of a recess where a washer would fit, on the front. I looked at pictures of the same part number and they looked a tiny bit different, probably no difference in performance. This came in the newer grey card box (as opposed to the older blue boxes) so I presume it's more recent. The clamp bolt threads directly into the aluminium, there's no nut inserted at the rear so maybe a bit more care when tightening required. Nice, black anodised finish.

Reseñar solo un dato, cuidado con el espacio tan pequeño que queda cuando lo situamos entre la cubierta y la pieza , para medidas de 23mm de cubierta mejor que para 25mm , estoy completamente seguro que para 28mm no entraría, yo llevo 25mm y por 3-4mm no roza cubierta y abrazadera...ojo!!
