After owning the smaller desktop version for a couple of years (and even having one back in the early ’90s), I’d always wanted one of these supersized wall models. Unfortunately, the hefty price tags from other manufacturers put them out of reach — until I came across this one at a fraction of the cost. Given the price, I kept my expectations modest, but I was genuinely blown away when it arrived. The build quality is excellent, and it looks fantastic on the wall — far more premium than I anticipated. Using the enclosed syringe, I injected around 15ml of air (roughly one and a half syringes), which seems to provide the perfect balance: enough air to slow the sand and create definition, while still allowing a steady trickle for those beautiful formations. One issue mentioned in other reviews — and something that happened to my brother — is difficulty inserting the syringe because the air hole appears blocked. This can occur if one of the internal glass spacers has aligned with the injection port during assembly. In his case, the unit had to be returned, as the disk is firmly sealed and cannot be opened. Thankfully, the replacement was perfect and worked exactly as expected. Like any kinetic sand art piece, it takes a little experimentation to achieve the best flow. I’ve found it needs at least 12 hours after being turned for the sand to fully settle and compact before flipping again. If turned too soon, the loose sand falls too quickly and the air bubbles rush upwards rather than forming clean lines. Levelling the landscape before flipping also helps create a more even, visually pleasing bubble pattern.

I've got a few of these sand art . Different sizes..it looks really nice ..just remember it won't be perfect straight away .you do have to get the bubbles just right .let it settle for a while .there's a little needle .to adjust the air inside..it will take a few weeks .maybe sooner ..( not in my case lol 😆.. although £60 is a little expensive..but it is really nice .I will UPDATE with a picture once it just right ...

Product wax well packaged when delivered. Instructions ok but limited information regarding bubbles etc. so straight on to You Tube had to inject half syringe of sir into it and get the bubbles the correct size to only just support the sand. It’s working great just have to get used to how it works . I read a lot of negative reviews regarding the syringe bending snapping etc. I had no issues the needle is very thin but it needs to be just gently support it from the side press very lightly until you find the place it goes in and it goes in with no bother. Once you get the correct size bubbles in a line across the picture if works well. Each time we turn it it gets better.

Very poor effect no air bubbles tried to use syringe but needle just bent I even took my time knowing needle was very femur sand just drops straight down no effect .waste of money avoid at all costs .couldn’t give no stars so had to give 1

Great size , abit disappointed ,cant really give a proper review yet , not much air ( hardly any bubbles in it when it arrived ) , turned picture , several times , and sand all just fell , within a minute , so tried to use syringe/ needle ,to add some air , found hole , but needle wouldnt go through and bent , so no good , so need to buy some blunt needle tips ( not sure on size , its for a 23" sand art pic ) any ideas, doesnt say on package...i really want this to work , as i love them..its alot of money to pay...to have trouble having to sort it..needle is so fine , hope others dont just bend , and i was being gentle with it..packaging and fitting are really good

I love these. I bought 3..only reason for 4 star and not 5 is because the yellow one to me is orange. The blue one i had to send back as i couldnt get the needle in to add air but got it returned and replaced no problem. My green one was perfect.
