Excellent part

Pros:- Good price- Mostly bright- Compact- Waterproof (o-rings included for mounting)- Tinned copper wiresCons:- Check engine light is dimmer than the rest- Circular shape of LED causes edges of icons to be dim (see photos)- Metric mounting hole (The 12mm mounting hole required may be hard to create for those of us in the US. 1/2" is likely too big. Try a 15/32" drill bit for mounting).- Non-replaceable bulbs (when the LED burns out, you'll have to buy a whole new light fixture, which probably means a whole new set).

Look and work great

I'm restoring an old 50's truck, and these are going to look great in the new custom gauge cluster I am putting together. The lights are bright and clear, and have a nice clean look to them. I won't be using them all as I don't like idiot lights and have gauges for the battery, and oil pressure, and nothing to connect the check engine light to. But the turn signals, parking brake, and headlight indicators are way nicer than the simple colored indicators the oem panel used.

I try not to get involved with Husband's creative electronics/robotics projects, however...he and Son #2 are building a spaceship simulator, and of course the dashboard needs indicator lights. Why they need turn signals in space, I don't know. These lights are good quality, easy to install, and bright enough to be easily seen but not so bright that they're blinding. The wires are a good length.

I had a custom-made dash installed in my 80s model Jeep Wrangler YJ and needed dash lights for blinkers, high beams, etc. I have been using just some LED lights for this until I found these actual lights intended for this purpose. Well, made and bright they are the perfect replacement lights only wish I had found them years ago, ah well I have them now and my dash looks even better because of them.

As an electronics hobbyist, I often need indicator lights to represent various conditions. I purchased these for a project I was designing, but the design changed, and they were no longer needed. Therefore, this is a cursory review.I randomly tested four of these lights using a 12-volt DC circuit, and all worked perfectly. I left each lit for an hour, and there was no appreciable heat.Each light was bright in normal room light, and the image was clearly visible. They appeared well-made.I will store these in my box of indicator lights and gladly use them for upcoming projects as appropriate. I would not hesitate to purchase them again.
