Quiet anchoring system with quality components
All components are high quality, made of hard plastic, and all attach firmly to side of yak which make for a quiet system with no dangling/chattering metal carabiners/rings/pulleys which can scare away fish. Highly recommend drilling a small pilot hole before drilling the 3/8 inch attachment holes for the Well Nuts as the larger bit WILL SLIDE on the slick yak hull plastic no matter how careful you go. The short elastic cord included in the set is not covered in the instructions, but it is probably intended to be a shock absorber and allow tension to be put into the trolley lines. After tying off the trolley line to the left side of the system ring, I ran the cord through the ring and put the two cord loose ends together and tied an overhand knot creating a closed loop in the cord. Then attached the right hand trolley line to the right hand side of the cord loop putting tension before snugging up the knot. I was so impressed when I got my first order I immediately purchased a second one for my creek boat.

Good anchor trolley
This anchor trolley is easy to install. Take your time reading the directions carefully and lay everything out on your kayak and tape it on to see how it looks before you start drilling holes. Also be sure you know where your water line is on your yak so you don’t put it on too deep. I like that this kit came with well nuts as I’d much rather use those than screws with sealant or rivets. My yak doesn’t have hatch access so the well nuts work great and are water tight. I didn’t need all the line guides so I had a couple extra well nuts and decided to put the anchor cleat on with them as well. I had to run and get 10-32, 1 1/2 stainless machine screws to make it work, but it worked great. Getting that final scaffold knot tied on the loop took the most time but I used vice grips to hold the line in place while I tied the knot and it did the trick. I’ll be using this trolley for an anchor system that I can quickly unattach from when needed. Im very happy with this kit and would recommend it to others looking for something similar.

Easy to install
Finally got to install my new Wilderness Systems anchor trolley yesterday! Install was quick and easy I’d say about 30 min total time. The tools needed can be found in just about any garage. After the install I tested the pulleys and they glide smoothly even with all four line guides installed. The plastic ring to run your anchor line through is plenty big and will allow the line to flow through with ease. Tested it out on the water tonight while diving for lobsters and everything worked as expected and the hardware stood up to the swell and frequent moves. Inside of the hull was dry with the well nuts doing exactly as they are designed. The orange reflective cord is a nice touch and helps out with being seen on the water at night. Overall impressed with the whole system and my other kayaks will definitely be getting one.

Easy to install, quality product
I recently installed the Wilderness Systems Anchor Trolley on my Radar 115. Overall, it was a very easy, quick install! Honestly, it took me a bit to work up the nerve to drill into my kayak, but once I did, it was very simple. The instructions are easy to follow, and include pictures as well. The well nuts they provide for the drill holes are self-sealing, so you don't have to worry about water leaking into the hull, and there is no need to add any other sealant for the holes. The hardware is of a very good quality as well. The pulleys are very smooth and quiet, and allow the anchor line to glide easily along the trolley system.Overall, i'm very happy with this purchase! Another great product from Wilderness Systems!

Effective anchor trolley
Pretty easy to install, hardest part is getting the correct tension on the rope so that the z lock works correctly. Just takes a little experimenting and it works well.

Wrong hardware
This item shipped very fast. This item came with the wrong screws for the zig zag cleat. The instructions then say to use a mounting plate for the zig zag cleat. No such hardware is provided leaving me with little confidence that this item is instalation ready. For that reason i do not advise on this purchase.
