Very affordable and top product, normal shower gels and hand gels dry my skin out this castile soap does not, lasts for 3-4 months for 1 person I use it for hand liquid and shower gel, highly recommended

Super versatile soap base product with no nasties..

I bought it to make my own hand soaps and dish soaps.It works well, I like that I can create my own products and I think it’s great value for money; and especially so if used in combination with the pump dispenser bottles!It’s fantastic in the kitchen for the dishes with added mint essential oil and sometimes also with bicarbonate soda. Supreme cleaning power.For use on skin I also add a bit of glycerin (just because it was part of the DIY recipe) and essential oils.The little minus is when I use it (even without the essential oils) on my face it really stinks when it gets into my eyes (much more than any other organic shower gel) I need to try a version with jojoba oil.And it still has its own slightly overpowering typical Castile soap scent which I am yet to learn to cover, hence my partner is not so keen on DIY hand soaps. He is still obsessed with the highly perfumed standard soaps and shower gels.

This is a repeat buy for me, and I’m still very happy with the liquid soap itself. I would award the full 5 stars for the soap but I was disappointed to find that the bottle top is now a simple screw cap. Previously this was a flip-top with a small pouring hole which makes it much easier to decant the liquid soap from the large bottle it comes in to a smaller day-to-day usage container. Luckily I was able to retrieve the old flip-top cap from the recycling bin!

This is a great value product that can be used for so many things.I use this mostly in the garden - specifically as an emulsifier when spraying oil onto plants (neem oil).Also use it in the garage as a traditional hand soap - next to no smell but does lather up and cleans as expected. Bottle is so handy as it has a clip on cap with a smaller hole for getting the soap out - ie no need to unscrew the lid every time you want to use it.Would recommend

This was my first purchase of Castile soap so I was curious to know what it is like. The bottle arrived quickly, very well packaged. Protection around the bottle and extra packaging around the lid meant it arrived in perfect condition with no leaks. I must say I am not a fan of its natural soapy smell, but that isn’t a drawback as I poured some into a 250ml pump dispenser bottle and added essential oils to give a scent that I like. I also added a drop of food colour which mixed through easily. The consistency is perfect for the pump dispenser. Most importantly it cleans well, lathering up and washing off easily. Being SLS free it doesn’t dry my skin like other liquid hand washes. I am a convert to Castile soap and this brand is a good price.Update June 2024 - just purchased again (the first bottle lasted ages). Still very pleased with it.

I am very pleased with this soap. I have an allergy to linalool and it is very hard finding soap that doesn't contain linalool. This also leaves my hands and skin soft after washing. It is the right consistency to use in my reusable soap dispenser, for those that seem to need a liquid soap rather than using the plastic free version, i.e. a bar of soap. I am delighted to find a castile soap that doesn't dry out my skin. Also to have Soil Association stamp of approval is fantastic. So the production of the ingredients for this are using environmentally caring practices. I am hoping, in my pursuit to make my own personal choices less environmentally damaging to the world around me, that I can count this as a good choice. Now I have to buy the 5 litre version to cut down on plastic bottles or find a solid bar version.
