I know what you're thinking, it's expensive and it's a "Gallon". Yah, all true, but if you do clean your firearms often, and buy this product in little bottles, it adds up quick. Or if you live in an environment where rust can be a problem, you can't have too much of this product. Also don't forget any household applications this could serve as well (replaces any 3 in 1 oil applications you could ever need). Since it's a CLP, it's great for protecting anything against rust. For firearms it just makes sense to buy this by the gallon. I put a bit into a stainless cup, and brush it generously on all the parts (with a 1" high quality paint brush (which is great for getting into chambers, etc)), I let them sit for 10 mins or so, then just brush clean (plastic or bronze), air compressor blow out the excess and wipe them down. The "preservative" nature of it, (or penetrating quality of it) soaks into the metal and really offers that extra protection. The key here is to remember you don't want the firearm dripping or "oily", you can literally wipe it down, thinking you've wiped it completely "off", but that is not the case, it's on there! Oh, wear nitrile gloves or something equivalent, it's not caustic by any means, but it is a petroleum products, so best to keep it off the skin if possible.

I've used this stuff for over 35 years for work and have never been disappointed. The best part is it's one and done. No separate clean and oil. Time saver.

Uncle Sam made me use this and only this. It worked then and still works for my needs to this day. My eyes are too afraid to try any other kind of smoke from an oil.

It does not clean the best nor does it lubricate the best. However if you want a single item to do both cleaning and lubricating then this can't be beat. I pour this into smaller travel size bottles to take to the range or outings so I don't have to mess with a variety of separate products that either clean and others to lubricate. Just do frequent cleanings and lubes with this and you will be fine.

Have used this product for over 40 years and it has not disappointed. Tried many other products but always come back to Breakfree. Good value for the money. No rust when used at regular intervals.

Mein Verkäufer war amazon (!), es kam ein Kanister an bei dem das Siegel unter dem Deckel gebrochen war (Paket wurde vor Zeugen geöffnet). Daraufhin hab ich den Kanister nachgewogen und leider waren es anstatt der ausgewiesenen 3,6kg nur noch 3520gr Gesamtgewicht. Wegen ca. 100ml schicke ich das Produkt nicht zurück aber bedenklich finde ich das schon und werde nächstes mal anderswo einkaufen.

Das Waffenöl ist hervorragend und hat in über 30 Jahren nie enttäuscht. Leider war auch bei mir der Kanister bei Lieferung angebrochen und 2/3 des Öls fehlten. Das scheint bei manchen Verkäufern System zu haben. Anwalt musste eingeschaltet werden, da Firma uneinsichtig. Das Öl ist toll, aber bei manchen Verkäufern ist Vorsicht angebracht.

Ich verwende ausschließlich dieses synthetische Waffenöl seit Jahren zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit. Für mich gibt es kein besseres.

Es gibt nur das US-Militär und die Selbstverteidigungskräfte haben angenommen, ist eine sehr gute Öl Leistung, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis beide. Dies ist das empfohlene Öl
