I don't mind the variance in sizing so much, but too many have black, mouldy looking bits. I love tv programmes showing how our food is packaged etc and the use of laser technology for quality control, with sub standard items being ejected from the conveyor belt. Even checking by sight surely should detect these manky looking ones - I have experience of this, & we'd have had a severe dressing down if we'd let this quality through!. That is quite the self assessment, but to be honest, they are not too far wrong with that statement. Of all the frozen oven chips that I have tried, I would put these second only to Aunt Bessie's.
