Great outdoor and workout watch.
Love this watch. The best Garmin so far. AMOLED screen looks great. Batter last really long even I use watch 6 times per week for outdoor and indoor activities (swimming, weightlifting, running, cycling and hiking). I’m getting a lot of compliments. Definitely will recommend to anyone.

Great watch
Best watch I have ever owned. A bit pricey. I find is very accurate. Love voice commands for setting up countdown timers. Plenty of free watch faces. Wish they could combine the two phone apps (Connect and Connect IQ) as that would simplify things more. Good battery life in the alway on mode at 5 or so days.

I'm converted -- blown away at build quality, battery life, and data provided
Coming from a long-time Apple Watch Ultra user, I have to say this has sort of left me speechless. First off, the battery is crazy. I'm getting around 15 days of use, even with GPS running during runs. The increase in battery life alone made me feel like this watch was different. Then with it, you get sleep tracking, V02 Max monitoring, Lactate Threshold monitoring, countless activities, it's honestly amazing. Long-term the value of the watch continues to pay off. I purchased an Oura Ring $399, plus an on-going monthly subscription; I was able to cancel the subscription because most of data I cared about is free with the watch. It's also one less gadget to deal with. I honestly cannot be happier with this watch -- it's a perfect fit for my active life.

the only complaint i can think of is that the paint/material o the outside frame of the watch starts to speck chip, not very noticeable; and also super expensive but that is expected

Good, but not GREAT.
Awesome watch, incredible battery life, and excellent features. My biggest complaint is that the screen is not nearly as reactive as I'd have hoped for in a device with such a high price tag. When I swipe up or down, there is a very noticable delay before the watch responds and starts scrolling. I had an apple ultra before this and it was extremely intuitive and responsive. This is nowhere near the level of the apple, but I deal with it anyway because the battery life is just so awesome.

What can I say about this watch? Bought it as a gift for my middle aged husband who thinks he is a GenZ fitness expert. God love his determination. He loves this watch. It is a great fitness companion unlike me. And unlike me, the watch judges and comments about my hubs general fitness. Some days the watch is rather brutal and frank. And as a wife I can’t say “quit be lazy!” But the watch can say you are detraining and he never yelled at the watch and tells it to stop being a b*tch. So yes, high value for the money, it makes my hubs more functional and is easy to use for an old guy who can’t see. Top marks.

Die Garmin fēnix 8 (47 mm) bietet extrem viele Funktionen – deutlich mehr, als ich im Alltag tatsächlich nutze. Genau das zeigt aber, wie leistungsstark diese Multisport-Smartwatch ist. Die Akkulaufzeit überzeugt absolut: Die angegebenen bis zu 14 Tage werden problemlos erreicht. Die Vitalwertüberwachung ist spitze, ebenso die Schlafanalyse. Besonders die Body-Battery-Funktion liefert wirklich hilfreiche Einblicke in den eigenen Energiezustand. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Bedienung. Obwohl ich technisch sehr affin bin, ist die Menüführung anfangs etwas kompliziert. Bis man eine gute Übersicht gefunden hat, braucht es Zeit, Geduld und einige Nerven. Insgesamt aber eine hochwertige, robuste und sehr leistungsfähige Uhr, die vor allem mit Akku, Analysefunktionen und Verarbeitungsqualität punktet.
