This bike is amazing!! I bought it in December 2024 as a gift for my then 4 year old son. 8 months later and he is still riding it around our backyard like crazy. It still works and so does the charger. The one thing I will say is DO NOT LEAVE IT OUT IN THE RAIN!! We have a spot to put it away to prevent it from getting wet now because a few months back it did stop working because it was constantly out in the rain. My husband took it apart and there was a bunch of water inside. Once he dumped the water, let it dry and put it back together it started working right away.

Update /5.7.25– After four months of use, the dirt bike completely stopped working. It has been well maintained and cared for so for it to stop working out of the blue indicates an internal issue. The battery shows charged but the bike does not operate. The only option for remediation is to contact Hover-1 customer service. The product only includes a 90-day warranty and we were offered zero options to fix the bike. At nearly $500 (price at the time of purchase), this is wildly unacceptable. Buyers, beware! ………………. My boys (9,5) love this. It’s safe, fast enough for them to enjoy it but slow enough for me not to worry. Deducting a star because in day 1, it fell over and a big piece of plastic broke- very cheap material. Also, the back of the seat is already worn after just 1 month of use. I doubt it will have a long lifespan and given the price, it should.

My 8 year old son loves this bike! It works well goes a good speed and isn’t loud at all. All my kids want their own. We haven’t had problems with charging it. It keeps a charge for a couple hours of riding.

I would not recommend this product. While my daughter loved it, after 2 months it stopped working. We started having issues with the battery. It wouldn’t stay charged and eventually it just quit working all together. I contacted Hover 1, and they told me it wasn’t under warranty anymore. I asked where I could buy a replacement battery and they said there isn’t one for this product. They told me to find a bike repair shop, so basically I’m stuck with a non working product. Poor customer service

Got this for my son and he hasn't stopped riding it yet. Great bike! Wouldn't recommend for someone over the age of 7 or so.

Less than a year after purchasing the Hover-1 My First Dirt Bike for Kids, the bike has completely stopped working. I am unsure if the problem is with the battery, the electrical system, or something else, but it is currently non-functional. I am very disappointed with the product's lifespan and the lack of durability. I will update this review based on the company's response and resolution to this issue.

Daughter rides it every single day. Perfect speed for kids. Battery life is great. The quality is outstanding.

I purchased this for my 4 year old for Christmas and by 2/13/25 it’s already inoperable. The battery died on 2/9/25 but it hadn’t been very long since its last full charge. I plugged it in to charge it yesterday, it shows power when switched on, but it won’t accelerate. Tried charging again today to see if it could have been my outlet, and again nothing. Contacted Amazon, but of course the return date was by January 31st so I’m having to contact the manufacturer, so we will see what they come back with. I’m giving it two stars because my son loved it when it was working properly. He had no issues learning to ride it and the size for him was perfect. It could be a little faster though. And knowing that it only lasts less than a month and a half though, it’s not worth it. If the manufacturer makes this right, I would give them 5 stars because my son loves this so much.
