Multiple uses
We live on the southern shore of Lake Michigan and do a great deal of sailing . This knife is clipped to our life jackets and I often give them away as gifts to handymen, carpenters, etc. They are indestructible, and last a life time. They are well worththe retail price. The Gas Man

Serrated blade cuts all line quickly
This inexpensive rigger’s knife has all the tools you need in your pocket at all times on a boat- shackle key, marlin spike and knife blade. The serrated blade cuts any rope quickly when needed, making it better than the similar knife without the serrations. There are better rigger’s knives, and go ahead and buy one if you want. But at this price, every sailor should have one of these attached to a lanyard accessible in their pocket at all times at sea.

Good value
Great tool for the sailboat.

Well made, worth the price
Purchased 2 of these for use in a recent offshore sailing race. Knife is well made and appears to be marine grade stainless steel.

Loose rivets
A functional Knife but the rivets holding it all together were not finished properly allowing the Knife to fall apart. I reassembled it and peened over the rivets and it's fine now.

Cheap imitation
I bought this to tie on my life jacket for emergencies. It’s good enough for that. The marlinspike is wobbly. There are two of the screwdriver plates side by side in the middle as shown in my photo, so both of them are worthless. If you want a little less cheap one that will service everyday get the Davis. It is twice the price though, but still only a fraction of a Myerchin or Captain Curry.

While advertised as stainless, it will rust very quickly.
The blades and external parts of the tool are apparently very low quality stainless as both (I purchased 2) rusted within a day of being put into service even after being rinsed with fresh water and dried. All the blade springs rusted worse, leading me to believe they are not stainless. Also, the main knife blade tensioner spring on one of tools broke and feel out of the tool on the first use.
