Extra Select Robin and Songbird Mix 12.75 Kg
Previously I have purchased another wheat free bird mix. This mix is excellent, in that it is suitable for so many species of birds, those who like milled seeds and fragments, as well as those that can cope with entire seeds. Because they are so eager to eat it, there is actually less waste that with my previous wheat free no mess mix. I like that this food attracts a good selection of birds, having some suet, mealworms and rowan berries mixed in, to attract the widest selection of species. Excellent food. I have this mixture on subscription so that I never run out.

This doesn't contain any wheat but the mix includes mealworms and suet pellets.
I bought this product to see if there was any less seeds discarded by the sparrows in particular. The mix was enjoyed by all of the birds both large and small . Even the squirrels were rather partial to it destroying several seed feeders in the process. The sunflower seeds are not whole thus no husks but the berries were not eaten even buy the larger birds making it less cost effective. I have since gone back to a no wheat seed mix that is significantly cheaper and there isn't any waste.

Good mix but no birds are eating the raisins
No birds eat the dried little raisins, in fact nothing seems to eat them and we even have mice and god knows how many grey squirrels in the area. So they're littered around the garden. Other than that it's a good value mix but I think they need to replace the raisins with something birds will eat, this would be my go to if they did that!

Very little waste
Didn't think the birds liked this at first; it went down really slowly. The truth of the matter was they wasted considerably less. I still have the same amount of activity, blue tits, cole tits, robins (2 of them oddly), bullfinches, tree sparrows and even a wren among others. Great product.

Excellent no-waste mix that all the birds love.
A lovely mix that the birds love - everything from robins to collared doves. A high proportion of sunflower hearts, with small bits of crushed corn (sweetcorn, not wheat), various small seed that I can't identify and some dried mealworms. No wheat and no sunflower husks. It's certainly worth paying the extra for this mix because very little of it gets thrown off the bird table, which happens with other mixes when the birds hunt for their favourite bits.

Almost NO waste :-)
Some dust but that is only to be expected with a mechanically stripped seed so I have no problem with that. Almost no waste so this is a massive improvement on previous wild bird seed feeds (usually ~ 33% wasted). The birds love it, they generally empty the feeders within two days then they clear up the spill from the floor underneath. There is very little germination from spilled seed so, although this is relatively expensive, it is a win-win for me and the birds, I'll definitely stick with this mix.
