Well one can spend a lot more money for a glue gun but why.Mr. Pen glue guns work really well and also have a lighted off/on switch.I have one for the clear/white glue sticks and one for using the black glue sticks.No problems using and pretty easy to store.

I got the full kit because I do a lot of Halloween costumes and cosplay and I liked the idea of having a gun I can take on the go and have available to fix minor issues that might come up. That said the gun is high quality I love that this one has an on/off switch as my last one did not. It also heats up very quickly and doesn't seem to run at all which is pleasing for my craft table as well as my wallet. You're not going to get any fancy settings but the glue gun works as, if not better than expected and as safely as a hot glue gun can get. The kit includes a good amount of glue which is nice and a handful of other useful tools for working with it which I really didn't care about at first but are proving to be quite helpful. I would say definitely worth the buy.

ETA: After practicing with this some more, I was able to complete my project (I'm not very satisfied with the results, however.). Get a glue gun with a precision tip for fine detail work.The glue comes out in blobs. It is impossible to make straight lines with it. It is impossible to tell how much glue is left. There is no way to take out the old cartridge. You can only put a new one in, forcing the rest of the glue in the old one forward. This results in more messy lines. I only wanted to make a small craft (a doll mermaid tail). This is a nightmare - literally a hot mess.

What a great buy!! I am an artist on many levels - jewelry design, handmade 3-D greeting cards, wedding bouquets, hand-embellished frames.....everything! 💝 And, I use glue guns quite a bit. This handy, very reasonably priced glue gun heats up fast, dispenses easily and really dries fast. That is one thing about glue guns....once the drop is down....it is DOWN! LOL 😯 Also, I received a "handwritten" Thank You note from the seller, what a nice touch! 🌹I will be returning! Highly recommend!

Works very well, easy to use and, comes with glue sticks. My only gripe is the fact its not very precise.

Worthy every penny! So convenient to have and it’s great that it comes with extra glue guns. Some people say cordless is better but it doesn’t last long but I will say the cord gun is amazing! I ca use it for as long as I want without hassle. It is precise, not messy and has a stand built-in to prevent any messes.

This mini glue gun will be great to do some work on my wreaths! It heats up fast and everything is intact. I haven't used it yet. I like all the features on this glue gun and seems to be well made...also came with 10 glue sticks....thanks, it will be great!
