I purchased two sets of the Vancasso 8 oz Ramekins with Lid, Set of 6.First, the Vancasso White Pudding Custard Cups' quality was excellent. The Vancasso cups were beautifully white, clean, and neatly packed in a way that prevented breakage during transportation. I have used the Vancasso Porcelain cups for baking in the oven at 350 degrees and found them to be easy to use and great for baking. The lids also make for easy storage. The lids feature a steam vent, a great addition. For example, I baked bean cakes, and once they were cooled, I placed lids on them and stored them in the refrigerator. The Vancasso cups and plastic lids are also easy to clean. Although I hand wash them, it is stated that they are dishwasher safe.Overall, the quality is excellent, and they appear to be durable (time will tell).

Love the size and the lids are amazing. They have a snap vent on the top and a gasket to seal them to the jars. Amazing for this price. I make oatmeal cake in them for breakfast. Perfect, high quality

The product was very well packed and protected. On first opening I thought I had ordered the wrong size because they looked enormous. Not so. These are well made, just the right size, the lids are a thing of beauty and will make these ramekins good for small servings of a soup, or warming liquids to add to a recipe, or a non-mug mug meal. They will be quite versatile.I am looking forward to seeing how they stand up to the test of time, and may even try making a creme brulee that so many others spoke of and pictured in other comments.Good purchase!

These Vancasso, set of 6, porcelain 8 oz ramekins are dishwasher and oven safe and come WITH LIDS that seal extremely well. The color is a creamy white, not a bright white, and they are thick and sturdy. I was also very impressed with the packaging; heavy, thick cardboard box with styrofoam all around and cushioning between each ramekin. Also, WOW, it got here so fast! We rarely get any shipment in just 2 days! I highly recommend!

Inside walls are not actually straight (read); Very thick walls; Great Lids.These are not ideal for souffles, especially cheese souffles. The inside wall curves out from the bottom, then curves back in before flaring back out at the upper edge. Souffles are better in a straight sided ramekin, or at least in a dish that is straight until it flares at the uppermost edge. I only discovered this curvature when I ran my fingers inside these bowls. To the unobservant eye, they might seem straight, but your fingers can tell.These are great for individual portions, ingredient preparation, storing small portions of leftovers, puddings, dips and the like. They will be good for chocolate lava cakes and similar. However, cheese souffle and many egg souffles will not rise to their maximum in these bowls: that curve will slow them from growing as well as they might without the curve. Also the thick walls (very thick), while good for heat retention, make for a somewhat heavy appearance for serving at the table.The "burp-able" lids are a wonderful feature--I wish all ramekins had such a feature.I am disappointed with the curving inner wall in the 8 ounce size, and not thrilled with the very heavy, thick, "ham-fisted" appearance of these. I don't mind the heavy nature of these, and I would not want a thin ramekin, but these are SO, very much thicker than my French ones or even some small oval Corelle French white products, that as other reviewers have said, they just appear "huge". These are nice bowls, but I don't want to just "settle" for something, so back they go.

Perfect size for a 2 egg omelet in the air fryer. Love the lids, too.
