Perfect for my chaplain badge (which is the same shape as the NYPD badge). Nice and sturdy. Recommend.

Perfect fit (on NYPD shield only, though)
My movie prop detective shield fits the cut out perfectly. However, using a standard "Blanket" safety pin to mount the shield won't work since the pin lugs on the back prevent you from closing the holder flat. I simply broke off the lugs (since I was planning on glueing the badge in anyway) and used some "Goo" on hte inside edge of the badge. The result was great. Also, I think the NYPD shield is the only size that fits this holder.
