MYPLUS Under Cabinet Lights with Hand Wave Sensor, 5 Color Temps and Dimmable Plug in Light Strip for Indoor,Kitchen,Cabinet,Counter（2-Pack）

Previously, I had a very dark view of my kitchen sink where there was no light installed. The only source of light was behind me, which cast my shadow over the sink, so I could never see if things were getting clean while washing. But there was just enough of a lip underneath a cabinet above that I could install this under cabinet light easily and it's not so visible. The cord was plenty long enough to reach the nearest outlet, and I could tuck it under the lip and route it down to the outlet and tack the cord into place against the wall. The light is plenty bright for what I'm doing, and it has a motion sensor that works every time. I haven't quite figured out what the nuanced motion is to change the dimness, just holding my hand if front of the sensor for a long time seems to be it. But changing the light shade is easier to do by pressing the button located at the end of the light bar. I really like this light a lot and it works very well and was obviously easy to install with the plug at one end. The bar came with double sided sticky tape and metal clips to install the light under the cabinet. It was easy to put up, and should stay put. The bar was not as long as I probably need, but it does do the job of illuminating what's in front of me.

I’m writing this review for the Myplus 16" Under Cabinet Lighting, Hand Wave Sensor. It brightens a dark kitchen corner well. I appreciate how easy it is to change the light settings and the color settings. When I was installing it, I plugged it in and turned it on so I could figure out its best placement. Then as I was holding the light under the cabinet, it started dimming - I had forgotten that I was activating the brightness level by covering the sensor. It definitely works! Now I need to find my cord clips to make the wire look cleaner and tidier. It’d be lovely if a few clips were included. It’s great to not have to be charging a light all the time!

This under-cabinet light is easy to install with either the included clips or 2-sided tape. The bright, even light really improves visibility under cabinets without casting shadows. I feared that working under the light would trigger the motion sensor, but it does not - the motion sensor reacts only to very intentional, close movements. I would have liked to see this powered by USB-C and be interconnected with others of the same type, as do others in this price range, but it does not have those features. Lacking features of similarly priced models knocks a star off for value. Functionally, this item is perfect and works as designed.

I had already installed a number of the chargeable type of lights for under my kitchen cabinets. However, with having to occasionally charge them and the difficulty of finding the on/off switch, we haven’t used them very much. So, when I saw this hand wave plug-in light, I had to give it a try.I have been very pleased with this new light. It is well designed with a 5 foot electrical cord, easy to install mounting brackets and a convenient button for changing the appearance of the light. I also like that there are five available color temperature settings (2700K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, 6500K).I found that it is exceptionally easy to activate and turn off the light with just a quick wave. Also, the minimum distance to the sensor in order to activate (about 3 inches) is effective which will minimize unintended activations.This is great light although I wished it had a higher lumen output.

Love the hand waving to control it, don’t have to worry about misplacing a remote.

The undercabinet light by MYPUS has so many settings it should be easy to please everyone. The "wave to turn on and off" feature is great. If your hands are dirty or wet that's ok, you don't have to touch anything. The power source is 110 VAC so there are no batteries to charge or run down at an inconvenient time, and no down time while it charges.

Installation hardware missing. However installed it with double sticky tape we had lying around under cabinet.Works as it should. One star off to the unit due to all the missing installation hardware.

It's a nice, long size. And it's very bright! I was surprised by how much light this puts out. The color options are really nice, giving you a lot of variety of temperature. I got this to light up a dark shelf and it works very well for that purpose. It's thin and doesn't stick out or get in the way. Good for narrow or small/tight space lighting needs.
