I installed this to match my solar post lanterns. The permanently installed LED should last a long time and is very bright on our new porch. Note that the supplied screws are metric and will not work in US mounting boxes. Good thing I saved the screws from the previous fixture! But it fit perfectly and installed in minutes.

I bought this as a replacement for a Patriot light that I bought about 5 years ago. That light failed when gnats got inside the LED module. The new unit looks to be sealed better and is brighter.

Great light.

The package was complete with everything needed to install into a wall socket meant for a porch light. It was an easy installation and anyone who knows how to use a screwdriver should be able to perform this swap.There is no actual light bulb, but a set of LEDs at the top of the fixture. It is open at the bottom and will allow bugs to crawl in. If this is a concern where you live, you may seek a different fully enclosed fixture. I believe this will work well for us and save us energy when we want to leave the porch/front yard lit up at night.

Really happy with this purchase. The light is very nice. It’s bright enough and gives a soothing feeling. Lights up the area very well. Installation may require some more screws, drill bit and vinyl guards provided the nature of the siding. But overall fairly easy to put together and works great.Really like the clear magnifying glass in the light fixture. Lightweight, right sized light with good illumination.

Don't know why they wanted a rating on motion detection. This has no sensors. I put a dusk to dawn bulb in it and it works well.
